Fake News. It's more about local LE getting Federal $$ so they exaggerate the "problem". And then the local media hypes it up for ratings.

Vote the established government out, impeach government officials. Make them fear loosing their jobs for once.

I know very little about human trafficking. It appears to me that the prostitution is a means to feed a drug addiction. Isn't drug abuse at the root of this? At least in our city? DaveB is right about the neighborhood sentiment. This is a nuisance / quality of life issue. The taxpayers complain and the police are doing their jobs by responding. I took a stroll last week and saw kids on bicycles, moms pushing strollers, etc. My little head was not thrilled but overall it was kinda cool to see. I saw one of my old favs (Jessica) as I drove with my window down. She spotted me and waved both arms in the air yelling "Hey"! If these remaining ladies can't learn discretion by now it's hopeless.
