Elliott Bay has been around forever, or for some reasonable equivalent of forever. Back when there were three long-running reputable agencies (Fantasy City (FC), Agency Elite (AE) and Elliott Bay (EB)) they were. Well, they were one of the three. I'm not sure what happened to FC. I think the owner (Scarlet? That's what I'm remembering) moved on to something else. AE went out in a blaze of something other than glory. EB seems just to be keeping on. Well, it seems to be. Turned out to be bullshit.

Had multiple text conversations and two quick phone calls before agreeing meet. Showed up to the agreed upon location and it was highly sketchy, which in itself was a massive red flag. I should have never gotten out of the car, but the little head was interfering with my decision making capability. A very different looking (significantly larger) woman answered the door and I knew immediately it was a ruse. I told her "thanks for wasting my time" and quickly walked back to my car. As I was pulling out, some asshole ran up to the passenger side of the car and started banging on the window. Initially startled, I stopped for a moment and the guy started yelling some shit about a $50 cancellation fee. He tried to open the door but it was locked. It's a good thing too, because lead poisoning would have been a very likely outcome for him had he actually gotten in. He then ran around and stood behind the car with his phone out as if he were videoing or taking pictures of my license plate. I reversed slowly but without stopping until I was able to drive forward to leave and got the fuck out of there.
