Insurance thru the carrier or third party is best for when you break or damage the phone yourself.

Even with the warranty, there's always a deductible for when you use the insurance claim on the phone. The real fight is finding who has the cheapest deductible for when shit finally happens. SquareTrade has the cheapest deductible ($75). It's kind of too Late for Taxi now, but I recommend it for the sake of all of our phones in the future.

Edit : realized you were talking about battery damage. Yea, you're supposed to be covered for a year.

Ya! UHD uses loads of data storage and can fill up a gig in seconds, no bueno. Yes the VGA 640 x480 is sufficient.
