Went to a relatively low key AMP on Gallows. Advertise in Craigslist. Got a Chinese tech down from NYC. Very good massage quality and decent NOVA finish. "late lunchtime", but nice that there were no interruptions.

Has anyone seen Cristine for awhile? I heard her service had dropped, and then Nicole showed up on the scene, and I don't even know if Cristine is seeing clients or whether her service is still dropped off.

I've seen her ad on BP but not every day as before. Maybe working with Nicole has caused her to change her schedule. My last visit with Cristine was not as good as previous ones. Don't know if that was a temporary thing or if she's just burned herself out. If you have her number you could probably just text her and ask if she's available.

FYI, Nicole is going away for a few months as of Feb 10th. Not sure if Cristine will start working more after that and not sure if that will have any effect on her level of service.

FWIW, I've nothing but good sessions with Nicole and I plan to see her again before she leaves. She's not a seasoned pro so maybe that helps to explain some of the scheduling issues others have had with her. I try to visit during slower times so I've never had a problem. As in all things, YMMV, of course.

I made an appointment with her a week ago. Found out she and Cristine had moved from previous location to Fairfax where some others also live and work. I drove 40 minutes to get there and was a few minutes late due to traffic. In the meantime she took another client and asked me to wait outside for 5 minutes. Well the wait became 15 and I was freezing (WTF), I returned to my car and continued to wait since I had travelled there. After 30 I called and talked to Cristine who said Nicole was bust (No shit). So I tried to arrange with Cristine, kinda awkward! While I waited for her to get back to me, I tried Sharon and Tara, but one was busy and the other didn't answer. Finally I sent Cristine a text and said I was leaving. 10 min. Down the road, I get a text from one or maybe both of them saying OK to come now. Told them, I'm gone! Received one more text saying, sorry. Sorry indeed. I've had some great sessions with Cristine, but never seen Nicole. Probably never will. Plenty of other options, who won't pull that crap.

Don't really care for their location.

Well kept establishment, Anne was beautiful and massage was great. Standard door fee, you will not be disappointed, logging it as one of my ATFs.

Although the snow caused lots of problems (and back muscular pain for many of us), I found a "silver lining" in the snowy clouds last week at Edsal Therapy.

Location: Convenient location just north of the 395 mixing bowl. Parking lot faces street. Lots of spaces (except for snow coverage).

Disadvantage -- ring the bell and wait for manager to open door (no vestibule).

Staff: Manager is a very nice K-lady. Led me to studio upstairs.

Studio: Several upstairs. Everything I noticed was meticulously clean. Good sized table, but no "face cradle. " Linen clean.

Prelims: Found out the manager was also the massage tech. She is fit and attractive (unlike me) and (like me) over-50.

After paying standard house fee, was told to wait and then subsequently escorted across the hall to the shower room where I received a very good scrub. Much appreciated. Took time to wash my face, and wipe down feet as exiting the shower room.

The rub: One of the best massages ever. For a slender lady she had strong hands and made good use of elbows and arms. Excellent stretching. Great deep rub on calves and feet.

Denouement: The entire visit was high quality. I received every minute of my hour (and I enjoyed every minute) for which I left an appropriate (standard) gratuity. She helped me dress, gave me water, and walked me down the stairs, wished me well, and I was on my way.

Summary: CONS: If stairs or senior staff are a problem for you, you will want to try elsewhere. It would be nice if there was a vestibule (to get in out of the weather / parking lot with more subtlety).

PROS: a nice lady, a great massage experience (at least for me).

My simple odyssey continues.

Saw Cindy again last week in Chantilly, and had a great visit.

She remembered me, and was again friendly, welcoming, and delightful.

I have found a good local. I appreciate the info many have posted.

The see / L stuff gives me Spidey-sense. The feeling that a non commercial address can lead to more possible issues with unexpected 'help' trying to extract more $$ or just a trick to beat someone. I am not experienced, just wary.

If you are going down Telegraph road, it's just past IKEA on the right side of the street. Not facing the street, but in a small industrial park looking lot (we turned around there and that's how we came across it). It is called XY massage and had a neon Open sign.

It was 60 for an hour, (full hour given) added a "body shampoo" for extra 20. This was not a table shower, it was soap and washcloth on the massage table. I would pass on that if I go again. No table shower was offered, I thought that was what was meant when she asked if I wanted body shampoo. Her English was not too understandable. But good massage and HE.

I am no spring chicken. I will say this talk of old ladies being better because of experience is very noble. It wasn't that many years ago that we all would have laughed at such nonsense. Non of today's providers hold a candle to the girls of HWC or Kinja. Some of you remember the good times. It just went to crap. The young girls used to be top notch in service.

They've all moved further north. Sometimes it's worth the drive but it turns in to a half day event due to commute.

3. The email. Craigslist will hide your email, if you email her direct without craigslist makes it faster and easier for le to find out who you are without having to get craigslist to turn it over.

I was over on that area, and decided to make a trip to this place. Had been there once when it first opened and was a decent experience.

Started out with an attractive lady named Mae, with soft sensual hands. A few days ago, I decided to give Nicole a try. My experience wasn't bad at all, but I may not repeat. Schedule an appointment was easy. She sent me a text with her address. I called her when I arrived at her condo. She asked me to wait. She called me back after 15 minutes. Now, here comes the interesting experience.

The condo has only one room. They have 2 girls work in that condo. I entered the condo and saw a condo on the right which was converted to a massage room. It has only a thin curtain, so I can hear things. Nicole took me to the bedroom. There was a bathroom in there. Well, you probably think that I am in a bedroom, and it would be better? No, it wasn't. The "client" in the living room came in and used the bathroom after he was done. They scheduled their clients about 15 minutes, so the clients can share the bathroom.

I was there for an hour, but it felt like a century. I constantly hear noises from the living room or the bathroom. For this reason alone, I am not going back there.
