ESCONDIDO, Calif. — Fifteen of 22 Escondido massage businesses inspected in December were cited for violating municipal code sections, with 10 in violation of fire and safety ordinances, authorities said Wednesday.

More than $10,000 in state fines were assessed to several of the businesses, according to Lt. Ed Varso of the Escondido Police Department.

"Our city welcomes reputable businesses. However, if a business engages in unlawful activity we will use all legal means to either gain compliance or shut the businesses down," Escondido Police Department Chief Craig Carter said.

"The police department prefers voluntary compliance over prosecution, but we will pursue criminal charges against employees and business owners who chose to operate their business in violation of existing laws. ".

Escondido's City Attorney's Office, code enforcement and fire departments and state agencies participated in the joint effort.

Additional massage business inspections are planned for the future, Carter said.

Thanks for replying. I occasionally looked at the massage forum in my last stomping grounds but they never had the success rate I see posted here. Although, they paid a lot less.

When I say "known," I more mean, when you see a provider it's 100% understood what's going to happen and the variables are skill, enthusiasm. However with the AMPs it seems like your rolling the dice between getting a crappy massage, to an awesome message with FS, with nearly everything variable.

I cannot speak for the others, just for myself. Anyway, my total each time was $$ and I was fully satisfied with that. You very well may be right that those rates could command a top shelf provider that is known. However, while those top shelf providers may be known to you, they are not known to me and probably not to many of the others. Maybe when I have some additional experience, I will reach out and ask for information. However, frankly, at this point, I do not know that I have sufficient posting history to ask and have any reasonable expectation of receiving truly valuable information about these gems. I am fairly new to this board, although not new to the hobby, but it pisses me off, too, when I see someone with very little posting history that seems to expect everyone to serve up all their hard earned information on a silver platter. Until I reach that point, I will probably stick mainly to contributing. If I get back in the area, I may ask you for some help along the lines of finding a top shelf provider, but I would likely do that as a PM rather than in the open forum.

First experience at an AMP. I saw Annie at Superior. Booked a 1 hour /$40. I was nervous and let her completely take the lead. I'm guessing she is in her late forties. Nice body.
