I don't usually chime in on these type of discussions but I have to agree here. It would take alot more than suspicion of a misdemeanor to get a subpoena for info from google. Google voice does the job keeping your real info hidden from the providers & "handlers" and as long as you don't forget to sign off the app before you go home, there's no risk you'll get a call or text when you don't want one.

The pics don't come up on google, so maybe there is a real Casey and I got the switch. I should of asked her her name. Be careful out there, I heard from a good source there have been a few busts since last week in Woonsocket.

Even if you are on camera buying a phone so what? Nothing illegal about buying a phone and you beeing on camera buying a phone doesn't help LE track you if all they have is a phone#. If they knew who you were and were trying to link a phone they found to you then being on camera buying a phone would be bad, but they can't get form a phone# on someone else's phone that is for your burner phone to you, that's the whole idea of having an untraceable phone.

Burner phones don't make you untraceable, every time your phone is tirned on. And sometimes when your phone is off. Your phone is telling nearby cell towers where you are so if cops have your number they can find out where you've been and when and possibly use that to help identify you. Especially if you haver a regular routine of driving a loop of streets every Wednesday at 3 AM. Not to many cars doing likely to have the same routing so you'd be pretty easy to spot.

Have you tried using Google Voice? You can download the app for your smartphone or use it from inside the wed-browser. With the app you have the option to use voice to dial or not to dial. If you text from the app you can get with your regular text messages, thru the app and get an email notification.
