Probably in most cases yes, but it's important that whatever your strategy is for using it aligns to your purpose for using it and that you have a good grasp on both (and good habits to keep them in tact). TOR is meant for a higher level of anonymity such as dodging the NSA, and to be honest a cheating SD really has no more to fear from the likes of NSA than anyone else.
