I have seen mixed reviews on Rosetta stone, kinda costly. I have seen good reports on Michel Thomas Italian. Nothing sexier than Italian, whispered in passion!!

Check out Michel Thomas Italian, gets some good reviews. Nothing sexier than whispered italian! Pretty easy to pick up also compared to other languages.

Ok, now I'm normally easy like Sunday morning, as stoic and uncomplaining as a stone, but I've developed a serious peeve here of late: what's with girls and slow texting? You know, when you're having an (ahem) conversation and there is like 15 to 20 minutes between responses from them? And these darlings aren't responding with pithy contributions to American literary tradition; we're talking, "Yes," "No," "Why, no, I don't have an egg beater," you know, quick stuff. Have you ever watched these girls text in person? Those thumbs are a blur! I mean, were they half so dextrous with their tongues as they are with those thumbs there wouldn't be a safe marriage within 100 miles.

I had a girl on the line the other day but she was taking so long between texts that I setup a different appointment in between her replies. Then, because I'm so obsequiously considerate, I texted Ms. SlowText back to politely let her know I was doing something else, and guess what? She made an incredulous reply in like 3.2 seconds. I mean, honestly!

And so damned many of these birds demand text only. I mean I get that text is a good way to start the dialogue, as she may be with a client or otherwise busy and it gives her the option to respond at her leisure, but once the setup starts in earnest why not phone? We could take care of it all so fast. Or even if phone is just unacceptable for whatever reason, why should it take so bloody long between texts? For me it's terribly difficult to text on my $15 burner, but I manage to make reasonably prompt replies, why can't you with a goshdarned, dadgummed QWERTY board? I hear that Buddah's a massive dude, he's probably got thumbs the size of russet potatoes and his texts are as quick as a stock ticker!

WTF Girls? Honestly.
