Seemed stagnant on SA for about a month but now things are moving. Working my way through the interview process.

So here is where I am. Considering the advice, I wanted to see how much of an issue this would be. So I had the first date. The meet-and-greet with my conflict of interest went nice. She's funny, cute, sexy and we even got in some make out time before she headed home. We'll be having the Tiggabounce later this week. The company she works for is pretty big with lots of offices, so I just kept that part to myself. She's pretty much looking for a very casual SD / SB relationship with very low maintenance fees. If it ever comes out, it could be construed as conflict of interest for one or both of you. That could have financial repercussions for you, depending on your contract, and cause employment problems for her, especially if it's a publicly held company. She's likely to be required, by company policy, to disclose any relationship she has with any client, partner, consultant, vendor, etc.

It might turn out alright, but then again, it might not. Is it worth the risk?

BT, as one that went down this path and decided to solder on, my suggestion would be to either dump the sb or dump the consulting gig. I also realize that you will do whatever you decide to do. The draw of the sb and the draw of the money are two hard items to ignore. I can only wish that you survive whatever you decide to do. Happy Hunting!

Pass. Seems like overexposure to me. I believe your situation would represent a absolute risk that is simply too high.

This SD / SB stuff is complicated enough. Don't make this the most expensive pussy you ever have. Disengage and set your sites on another target until your business interests and pussy interests are no longer intertwined.
