I originally posted the doylestown link to bring attention to that area as a place to avoid. I feel its every mongers duty to raise warning and point out unsafe areas. Backpage is risky business and we should all assist and look out for each other. And, I can't believe the false allegations posted about Cooky Jar. It raises alot of questions and concerns.

There is a guy named Gary Klem that has been going around the area for years soliciting girls for prostitution and then tricking them into having lots of pictures taken-he tells them it is for his personal collection, then betrays their trust by posting the pictures online. I think the Police need to investigate Mr. Klem.

I guess that's the way it is in today's world.

I realize now that what I have been doing is wrong. Posting pictures of naked girls is demeaning, selfish, and devastating to each girl's future. I apologize to Jackson and to those who have used my pornography with little or no regard for another human being's self-esteem.

If I wanted to make such a statement I would post it here in this forum where Jackson and those concerned would be sure to see it. I would not have post it out on the internet where it could possibly bring unwanted attention to me.

This fake could not post on USASG as CookyJar.

I am not a fool; contrary to popular belief.

DD, I work with a social services agency down in Philadelphia, and the name "CookyJar" has come up before with some of the young women I have mentored. Apparently he lures younger women in areas of high drug activity with promises of money for nude pictures. I hope the Philadelphia police can devote some resources to tracking him down. Maybe HIS photo can be made public!

If she had gotten the name from women she mentored, she would have spelled it “Cookie Jar,” like everybody else.

I have always said it wasn’t LE that bothered me. It’s the guys from this site. There is a threat among us.

Obviously, someone is trying to impose their beliefs on the members of this forum.

I was done with this debate and hadn’t planned on revisiting the article. A big “Thank you,” to the fellow monger who PM’d me about the new comments.

I'm sorry. The post quoted above makes no sense to me. Doesn't the author post many many pictures of "little girls"? On the internet? Without clothes? Where the residents in the "little girls'" home township can see them?

Logically then shouldn't the photographer's photo also be shown? The photographer is part of the story. If I lived in the township of some of these "little girls" I'd want to know who's going around taking nude pictures of them for money. Especially if I had young kids.

Logically:

1. The photographer does not benefit from the girl's earnings.

2. (As I mentioned before) the photos were taken and posted WITH the girl's consent.

3. Without personal info (name, etc.) , what are the chances for her neighbors to find her here?

The pimp was part of the story. They could have shown the pimp's picture but for some reason decided not to. There is a picture of the pimp somewhere. In his booking records, likely. If they let the editor have her picture, why not his?

At any rate, If I lived in this township I'd want to know who's going around pimping out little girls. Especially if I had young kids.

I don't do BackPage. I didn't do CraigsList. There is a lot odd about this news report. Isn't this the way CraigsList got toppled; a small incident that drew the attention of the press and authorities? (Even before the CraigsList rapist, CraigsList was under a lot of pressure.) Could it be that the pimp has turned informant?

There is a lot more to this story that I would like to know. A year ago she was an honor student? What the fuck happened? Where the hell were her parents? Where the hell did she meet up with a pimp?

We will likely never know the whole story. Hopefully, I will not be posting pictures of Vanessa in someone's basement on Kensington Ave. She'll be lucky if these are the only photo of her in this lifestyle.

It's a shame, nice girls getting involved in something like this. And so here there's this guy who writes a story with photos of the girl from every angle. The differences are quite obvious:

1. There is 'no personally identifying info' for the general public to Google (look on every page in red ink). On the other hand, please Google this girl's name and see what comes up. I did. She is scarred for life, courtesy of the system pretending to care, which CookyJar described quite elaborately. Now try to do the same with any girl posted on this site. Let us know what information comes up.

2. The pictures of girls on this thread were posed for and are published WITH their consent. There are many SWs who simply refuse to take photos.

To brand someone this young is, to me, disguisting and a real tragedy. In the 'land-of-the-free' to boot! It's like a bad joke. The rest of the world is laughing at us!

So the caring authorities that busted her feel so bad they put her picture in the paper and online! I wonder what will ruin her life more, drugs (that she CAN quit) , or story with a photo for the whole world to see! Unbelievable they would do this to an 18 year old girl!

The authorities probably figure that they care more about this girl than the pimp and low life (johns) that were taking advantage of her 18 year old body. Everyone automatically gives themselves the upper hand when it comes to righteousness. In reality exploitation is the name of the game. The cops who made the bust needed to show that they are doing their job. The reporter would not have been there if there hadn't been a good story for him to write. The picture is just another form of exploitation – to pump the story up so they could sell more papers.

If this had been an ugly 48 year old pimped out prostitute arrest; it would never have made the paper. The fact that she was young and pretty is what made the story interesting. The only way to show that she was pretty is to print her picture. And, with a pretty picture you need a thoughtful caption.

If you think hard enough about it, everybody got a piece of this 18 y/o ass. The lawyer, the judge, social workers and everyone whose job depends on someone getting arrested in order for them to get a paycheck; got some of this ass. The staff of the newspaper depends on events happening to people. Tomorrow there will be another story, other photos and this sweet little 18 y/o's ass will have been forgotten. Así va la vida.
