Unless it's a safety or anonymity issue, I've always felt that it's best to meet a potential SB at a place they suggest. It's all about making them feel comfortable with the process. Many of them are already in uncharted, unfamiliar territory stepping into the SB realm. Anything you can do to increase their comfort level also increases your chances of making a connection.

Thanks for the info Castle. I suppose a single transfer for $500 to a pre-paid card on a bank statement is less suspicious than 5 charges on different dates from Motel 6 on a credit card statement. But there must be a statement for the pre-paid card's transactions somewhere, right? In my case I've just found it easier to bury the transactions in an unconcealed card and restrict access to the statement. Others have also recommended cash at hotel checkout and I should probably do that.

Setting up an account in another name can be done of course as a business, but you have to apply for a new taxpayer identification number from the IRS before you can open a bank account. You'll want to avoid doing anything that has tax reporting implications, like earning interest. It might work for some, but for me it would just be another difficult-to-explain complication.

In general, I believe as you ramp up complex security schemes you become more likely to break some law of banking or the hotel business or tax law or some other damn law you never heard of (think John Edwards) and that invites attention from leo.

I favor keeping things as simple as possible.

This sucks.

But be patient. She may contact you in a few days. I wouldn't try to contact her again immediately. If she doesn't get back to you, you could send her a friendly non-aggressive "thinking about you, how are you today?" type email or text which sometimes revives things.

A significant number of these apparent false starts turn positive. Many don't, of course. We have all had strikeouts.

Meanwhile, there are always more babies to pursue which will take your mind off SB1 while you wait.

That's my view. Lets see what the others say.

As others noted: 9's across the board. She looks as good live as she does in her pics, her skills are, with a couple of exceptions, at the very top of the heap, and she's sweet, personable and tasty. It was as much fun as any escort engagement I've ever had. And, unfortunately, as devoid of any sort of emotional connection as any of those engagements as well.

On the bank account thing.

I'm going to have my SB open an account in her name at a bank that I can easily deposit money into (She's in Md, I'm in Va). This will get her a debit card to pay for hotel rooms, etc. I do have my own private account for my personal spending, but this provides me another level of security since we are meeting on a frequent basis. I don't want that many hotel / hotwire account purchases showing up. .
