Why do we pay for sex?

For me I like uncomplicated sexual experiences most men do. We all know that regular "free" sex turns in an expectation of a committed relationship. This is complicated no matter your marital status or age. There is one fundamental truth.

We don't pay them to cum we pay them to go.

MTs or apartment girls or girls on the street do not expect a relationship.

    Cali-Peterson LMP Apt report

I was drawn to this ad due to it's close proximity to my place and due to the fact that I heard one of the chicks that use to work at Claudia's opened up an apt in the area and I thought I might run into her here. Anyways. The place is on California right next to the school. AVOID this place unless you like ugly, chubby, fresh off the boat looking Mexican chicks (barrel shaped bodies with flat ass, chicken legs, frizzy hair that don't know how to put on makeup) that try to upsell like crazy. Massage was even worse than her looks, and I actually got the better looking of the 2 that were there. HJ technique was totally lacking and I told her to stop as it just was not going to happen.

So I can understand why a place like Downers Grove would want to shut down MPs that operate on Ogden Avenue; to people who don't share your viewpoint, these MP establishments put the community in an unfavorable light.

I'm not moralizing on mongering; I'm criticizing people who act like they can't understand why some people don't care for mongering.
OK, Professor, get off your high horse.

Regarding the MP, it's been there in some incarnation for at least a decade. If it were causing a disturbance or bringing an unwanted element to the neighborhood, it would have been shut down years ago. There's no gaudy signage and the windows are all covered so you can't see inside. It's just another storefront business. I bet if you asked most residents nearby what was in that spot, most couldn't even tell you.

I'm sure most residents in the neighborhood would be up in arms if they knew SW activity was occuring near them. I understand that. If the SW were dressing outlandishly and drawing attention to themselves, I'd want it stopped as well. As I said before, business is done very discreetly. Most people have no clue as to what's going on. It's all a matter of giving and getting the look. If it's done right, the pickup can be made without anyone noticing.

You'd be surprised where SW activity occurs in the city. I've gotten the look in areas where I never imagined making a pickup. If mongering happens and no one notices, does it affect the neighborhood?

But lets look at the facts guys. When you get 40 or 50 you don't want sex like when you were 25. You have more cash. You really would save up for a great night with a 20 something.

I'd rather have fun twice a week with a 20 something than 5 times a week with a woman my own age.
ROTL! This is pretty funny. But some pretty true observations. I mean, when a woman is middle aged, you're not going to get off-the-scale aroused just from looking at her.

When it comes to the economics of "paid for" sex versus "marriage" sex (although nothing is free, but the medium of exchange can vary) , one way to look at it is that with "paid for" sex you encounter relatively low fixed cost (for the first sex act) but relatively high marginal cost. With "marriage" sex you pay a relatively high cost for the first sex act (high fixed cost) but a decreasing cost trend for subsequent sex acts (low marginal cost). LOL. Of course, by the time the woman hits middle age, her ability to extract any kind of "rent", fixed or marginal, decreases considerably.

There are some SW who work nearby as well. They are low key for the most part. It's not a known stroll, so there aren't a lot of mongers running around. (Traffic is so bad anyway, I don't think anyone could tell the difference.) As long as they don't walk around in minis and high heels and walk around in traffic and draw attention to themselves, it's not that big of a deal. I admit, it kind of bothered me at first, but now I don't even think about it.

Finally some providers are getting the point!

I've been to many providers and although many are are pretty good I'm glad this one has dropped there prices a bit. I asked Mia if they dropped there prices because they've been slow and she responded by saying that they dropped their prices because many customers had thought that too many providers were over priced. This location and the other on Christiana are my 2 favorite spots yet their prices have got cheaper while others keep going up. They are by appointment only but atleast you can choose your provider. If anyone needs info I'd be willing on helping in exchange for info on another location or future lead.

Most mongers want to remain in secret. There is no political will to change things because there are no voices calling for change. I'm not about to step out from behind my screen name and I bet most of the people on this board aren't either.

Times they are a (have) changing

Another area is if your browse C-list, how many m4m posts are there with depictions and open proposals where if a W4M was to, it is flagged and removed.

Perhaps the key to this is NOT mentioning a donation at all.

    Stay safe and prosper.

As a matter of fact, years ago I lived in a place where prostitution was legal and there was a low-key massage parlor up the street from where I lived. Did it bother anyone? No more than the doctor's office on the same block.

Also, since it was legal, there weren't any streetwalker strolls. There was a red light district you could go to and there were scattered bars where "working girls" were known to habituate.

Regardless of the morality of it, decriminalizing prostitution would dramatically reduce the visible negative aspects of the business and it would improve the lives of sex workers.

What is the end goal? That one day prostitution will not exist? First, it is impossible. There is a reason that prostitution is the oldest profession. Because it has been around forever and will continue to be around forever.

Second, what is the friggin point? Let's say one day Chicagoans can not get a massage in the city. Is there ANYONE who's life would benefit from that? All the 'would-be' massage parlor employees would shrug their shoulders, find a nice $8 an hour job to support themselves and their two kids, and go to school at night to obtain their Ph. D? Is that what would happen?

I would say this: if guy Y agrees to pick up the check in exchange for sex with girl X, then that would be prostitution. Of course, proving it is another thing altogether because even if guy Y and girl X had an "understanding", LE does not have mind-reading technology, so proving the case would effectively be impossible. I mean, people break laws all the time; but if there is no way for LE to catch them, then there is no way to enforce the law.
