It seems clear that there is a concerted effort among providers and establishments to ratchet up the tipping scale by. 2. It seems to have started 3-6 months ago. I gave in at ATMB last time (little head took over) , but from now on I'm only going places that have a reputation for not upselling, and who stick to the scale.

Stopped by Modern on Gallows yesterday, or at least formerly known as Modern, now called Clover Health. Placed a call first and MMS said new girl available. Turns out she was NOT new. When I arrived, I should have known something wasn't right on two fronts: (1) Bad attitude upon the meet and greet of the provider, (2) she didn't know here own name! She first said Gina then changed it to Jenny. So I asked which would she like to be called, she said use either one. OKAYYYY. K-girl about 5-3, late 30's, sorta big boned, but not on heavy side, okay-looking, dirty blond hair. Not much of a talker, prolly because of the "I wish I wasn't here" attitude. After some small talk, she was not new, it was just her first day there at Modern but she works primarily in Chantilly. We proceeded to the TS and it was one of the fastest TS I've ever had. I was clean, but I didn't feel squeaky clean. We went back to the room (first one on the left as you enter the establishment). Massage was okay, soft, and again, she wasn't into it. I tried small talk but it wasn't going anywhere. On the flip, that's where it began."what do you want?" Massage with happy ending. 60! Top off. 80. Full naked massage. 100. I opted for standard NOVA finish since we weren't heading anywhere talking about the menu. Halfway through making junior happy, she complained her arms were tired and sore. (Keep in mind, I was her first customer of the day!) She then insisted to place tip on table, I told her I've been there many times, MMS knew me and I never did that before. But she insisted and got upset and mumbled something in her native tongue. I kindly asked her to speak in English, and she gave me a death stare. That's when I stopped, got up and proceeded to get dressed and leave. She wanted to wrestle me down on the table, but I wanted to go. She grabbed JR and continued stroking, and in the process ended up hurting me. I asked for MMS and she got real upset. I called MMS afterwards explaining her poor attitude and what happened and she apologized as best she could. She said next time better and nicer girl for you. That is, if there IS a next time for me. .80 damage and physical abuse, and NO tip!

Sorry if I ruined this for anyone, but I'm putting my foot down on this one! Bad attitude and poor service gets what is deserved.

Condo off Lee Highway in Arlington, easy access. (Thanks MB for the digits.) Since this seems to be an ongoing operation, I'm christening it ACC in the manner of the similar local operations. Chinese provider 'Sherry, ' wouldn't say her age, I'd say over 40. Very tall and slim, A cups, average face. Bubbly, affectionate personality. Said she lived in NYC for two years. Spoke little English. Seemed to take an immediate and genuine liking to me. Go figure. (I'm not FOBU, but neither am I frequently mistaken for Jon Hamm.)

She was relaxed, forthcoming and cooperative, which made the experience easy and fun although she is not the hot young type that really turns my crank. Seemed very easily aroused by DATY but stopped me before completion. I asked her why, she said something about blood going to her head, I couldn't understand what she meant. Farted while I was down there, we both laughed.

Refused to give BBBJ, gave covered BJ and different positions to completion. She was not in a hurry at all, but her phone kept ringing. At the end she said apologetically that MMS was watching the time. I think I was there exactly an hour. I asked if she would like to have dinner sometime. She said she doesn't get any time off, and I had the feeling she was telling the truth. I asked half-jokingly if she was a slave, but she didn't understand the question. Do the managers of these operations really control the providers that much?

Total damage: $.6 flat fee. As I was driving away, MMS called me and asked how it went. I said OK, not bad, not great. We exchanged first names and I thanked her. I like the idea of MMS knowing me and trusting me. She said a new provider is coming to this location in about 10 days.

Visited Spa Castle today.

I like the facility. Very large rooms with high ceilings.

Suzi was my provider today. She is solidly shapely and fun to talk with.

Knows how to give a very good TS, massage.

This is not my ATF place, but it is a nice place and I recommend Suzi, Candy (and BeBe who I think departed some time ago).

Standard rates and standaard tip. Not examined, not discussed, politely accepted.

Even though YMMV, I would agree with Telcova and left. 40 and call it a day. These K-girls are new from NYC, and they will be glad to accept what tip is rendered for the service, but do it with a BIG smile. Works for me.

That must be the modern name for the place on Gallows. Anyway, came to your fair city and RTF. Anyway went there and met the MMS who took my door fee of. 8. Lele or layla or something like that met me in the room and proceded to the shower. It was warm, wet, relaxing and complete. Attentio to the right parts. Started a pretty good massage, relaxed me and so on. Got to the flip she asked what I wanted, Made the hand to mouth motion she said how much I said. 5 she said it was 1.

So we regressed to HJ which she said was. 6, told her. 4 and she wouldn't budge, Even moved away so I could no longer rub the nice bolt ons. Up front, they promise "gooduh massagi," while brazenly demanding "you giveuh me tip" in the middle, then complaining "tippuh no good" at the end.

While the Va. Massage scene was never as freewheeling as DC, it used to be that a good TS, quality massage, and a full session were part of the deal. I especially remember the original Golden (started across from Booeymonger in Georgetown and moved to Merrifield) as a great place. Connie spoke some of the earliest and best untranslated Asian I ever heard.

I've given up completely on the AMPs, and either just go for legit massage, or to the private-home providers. At least they have to build a reputation, and can't just milk a market based on the novelty of being a new face then go on "bacation."

So I'm back in D. C. For the first time in 5 years. Was in Dumfries about 2 weeks ago and though I'd stop by O spa there. I used to be a regular there in the day and it never disappointed: FS, TS. 2-4 quality K-gals between 25-35, multiple girls an option.

Encounter 2 weeks ago was poor, although I guess standard for NoVa these days. $70 door fee for an hour, fair massage by an overly chatty older Korean woman (early 50s) who seemed to think I wanted to hear about the details of her giving birth decades earlier and about her divorce. Gave an average HJ, allowing roaming hands but remaining clothed the whole time.

Came back this weekend, hoping that an evening visit on a weekend might improve the scene. Same woman. Same scene. The greeting was warm, the massage a little worse than before, and the HJ about the same. The only difference was that I was able to talk her into taking her top off this time. Pretty sure more is available down the line but it's not worth the time for a 50ish Korean grandmother. Of course YMMV. But it will probably be no better and probably worse. I speak Korean and can usually get a good thing going quickly. No dice here though. At least not in the near term.

May have to check out some of the other options in the area.

Seems that there is a full menu available, although at a. 2 premium to what is considered normal, up and down the scale. The only thing I can figure you get for that premium is full reciprocation. DATY, etc. I opted for an untranslated french lesson, on which she cheated. Meaning much more hand than I would have liked. She couldn't seem to make it happen there, and wound up giving up, going standard NOVA to completion. She did try, but the not-quite-french, not-quite-standard method just didn't seem to do it.

All in, took a little longer than the half hour I requested, for which I was mildly chastised.

Given the average massage, the tip ratchet-up and discussion, the service itself, and the absence of a TS (usually one of my favorite parts) I would rate this experience as below-average to average. I probably won't repeat.
