I'm with you on the no-show issue. My travel situation is similar. The 5 hour drive I made over the weekend is unusual. I had 2 meetings lined up, but they were in opposite directions. The first one I had to drive 2 hours one way, then the next day turn around and drive the opposite direction. So it made it much longer than it would normally be. I don't think I could deal with travel long term as my work keeps me busy and I'd rather not spend all of my free time on the road. Especially for no joy at the end.

I've had a few no-show sbs and plenty of cases where girls say, sure, let's meet and then they disappear. In talking to a lot of girls I've met up with from the sb site they all tell me they are absolutely swamped with emails from guys. A young girl with pretty photos can barely keep up with the email traffic. As soon as she gets to the end of her inbox, it fills up again in a matter of hours.

This means (unless your profile shows you are young, rich and handsome) you have to get lucky just to get a conversation going with an sb. It also means that even after a sb has agreed to see you, she is still being bombarded by emails from guys who are your competition. If you have told her the kind of sugar she could get with you, some guy may come along five minutes after she's agreed to see you and offer more. I believe this is one cause of no-shows.

Many of the girls, when they start off as an sb, really believe they are looking to find someone who wants a long term mistress and who will provide them with a serious amount of support. I think the youngest sbs (all over 18 of course) are most likely to believe this. When they realize thats not the direction they are going, they pull back.
