Prostitution. Charging # 14.204 This is generally the only way providers can be charged, but only after actually committing an act. Essentially the cops would have to see you in the act or one of you would have to admit it. Mongers can also be charged with prostitution. This is the same misdemeanor as before 12/1/24.
Since you can't make a deal to get out of the felony, your only shot is to be acquitted. It is imperative that you preserve every legal argument for your attorney to make for you. You must not make any statements. Your only word when questioned should be "LAWYER". They will be encouraging the provider to flip on you, as she can't be charged as long as an act hasn't yet occurred. The new provisions enable her to collect reparatory damages from you, so she won't be your ally after the cops tell her this. Your attorney will have lots of tools to fight with if you haven't made any statements. If these prosecutions become a grind for the's they will be less likely to prosecute cases where defendants have lawyered up. It's important for all of us that they don't make easy layups.

Is there any reliable indy or palors in South hill or Emporia in VA areas before crossing the borderline? If I can, I should dump junks clean the pipe in VA before arriving in NC to avoid facing a felony charge.

Have any of you actually seen a provider from our area worth the risk of a felony?
In all seriousness, I can't recall a single one. We have other options guys. Save yourself the trouble and burn the extra gas.

I still don't fully understand whether police being involved in the meeting is a requirement for arrest or not. I sort of doubt the scenario where an angry SB screenshots you and takes it to the police and gets you arrested. Nevertheless, that's why I'm saying don't leave any electronic trail. Meet in person and go from there.

That's crazy, not even convictions, just arrests for misdemeanors. Imagine a problem kid, born in USA with noncitizen parents, having the leverage to get their parents deported with a false accusation to CPS. Same thing for a false domestic abuse claim.
