Oh I've been there and I'm finally able to stick to a budget after many years. We come into this hobby having been starved of pussy for far too long, but eventually we have our fill and our standards rise. Then it becomes a fight against FOMO (fear of missing out). The simplest approach is a burner app. Second would be if you have a phone with two sim trays and use one tray for the burner sim card. Couple that with a reliable VPN or VOIP service and you should be golden. Look, the truth is that we peons aren't worth the effort and resource to keep tabs on for the most part. Having a burner phone or app with VPN / VOIP is good SOP to abide by anyways.

Burner phones can be traced, and even triangulated against your real phone, in order to locate you IF somebody with the resources, the smarts, and the desire really wants to track you down. I know some of them personally and I've tried to learn from their mistakes.

On the other hand, if you're not married, no kids, self-employed, etc, and you just don't care about the threat of being publicly exposed someday, then you don't need to bother with any of this stuff. And I envy your lifestyle!
