With the passing of Danny last month, I recently heard from some of the girls that some changes have been instituted over the past few days at On The Border. Apparently tipping security no longer ensures that the lights can be turned off in the VIP rooms anymore. Also heard that some dancers were fired, don't know yet what the reasons were. Danny's brother has long been a partner in OTB but pretty much stayed hands-off and let Danny run things. Sounds like the brother is now running things. It's been almost month since I was there last so I haven't seen anything change yet.

Anyone else heard of changes?

There have been multiple parties that wanted to buy it just to shut it down. This shouldn't be surprising to anybody.

Yeah, there was little to no chance that the county would have given a liquor license to a new owner.

Saw an Instagram post that Solomon's has been sold and the new owners are taking over next week. I'm not holding my breath but it has to get better after years of mediocrity. At best.

Hey I'm staying at a hotel close to the Brewers stadium. Looked at the reviews and it seems like the clubs are hit and miss. I'm within 15 minutes of Heart breakers and OTB so I'm looking into those two mostly. I went to Heart breakers 3 years ago and wasn't impressed as the girls seemed disinterested and made it known they didn't want to be there, but I wrote it off as they were likely recovering from Covid closures.

What do you all suggest? What are dance prices at heart breakers, I can't remember what I paid last time, and OTB? Do they both do dollar rounds after getting off stage still?

You're probably gone by now, but nonetheless:

OTB is the best option in town right now, though that's not saying much. More expensive, but lots of two-way contact. I recommend dayshift if you can. If you're in the market for rooms, they can get interesting, particularly during dayshift, but only if you're willing to spend what they cost, and they start at $355.

Heart Breakers has gotten better. It's one of four clubs under the same ownership in Wisconsin and all have shown improvement post-COVID. Good chance you'll find a few decent options, and it will be cheaper than OTB. Stricter on rules, though.

Silk Downtown has some good looking ladies, but I hate the way the club is laid out, how loud it is and how difficult it is to track down ladies you're interested in. It's bad enough that I mostly stay away, which is saying a lot. The Silk brand has gone downhill; their best club now is in Madison.

Yes, the tip walk still happens at OTB and Heart Breakers. If your hotel bed isn't comfortable and you need to help yourself get drowsy, browse through past discussions here about how no one particularly likes it but it has a few positives and we live with it anyway.

For those of you who knew Danny from OTB and his other joints over the years, he passed away about a week ago. The funeral home was one busy place yesterday. RIP.

Agree about Silk on Water. Won't go back there.

They charged me $10 for not meeting the dress-code LOL. Absolutely no touching in the booth. One girl was friendly but my friend had zero luck with his dance.

I asked them to break a 20 at the bar, was told to get it done at the front desk who charged me a fee for breaking a 20 LOL. Then she asked me for a tip too.

DJ and drinks were good.

Jesus, it's a strip club, not one of Trump's exclusive country clubs. The bullshit they put you through to see naked tits just ain't worth it. I'll take a lower end club any day that has friendly girls, cool bouncers, and cheaper drinks. If the talent varies, well fuck, there are diamonds in every rough. Last time I was in Encore, one of the dancers reminded me of my mother, god rest her soul. But the AA dancer looked like Beyonce. Still, I got treated better that the fucks at Silk.

The door guys were dicks though. They asked me if I had weapons and I said just wand me.

Was here in June for a couple nights (Fri, Sat) and hit several different places. Had a good time at OTB, you can do plenty of touching and can find just about any type of dancer there. Prices aren't too bad. Encore is a local bar and hit and miss with talent. I've had some really good times there and others not so good. Texas Jay's will surprise. Most of the time, I'm in and out in one drink, but a couple of times I've gotten away with way more two-way contact than you'd expect. Airport Lounge seems like a place where the girls know the regulars and I don't get much action. Silk downtown has some real lookers and I had fun with one AA girl who allowed plenty of touching. Silk on the Water is a dump. It was actually better when it was Art's. I've had more consistent fun at Ricky's than anywhere over the years, but this time it was closed on a Sat night with cops out and State St closed, so I'm guessing there was a murder or something serious in the area.
