I do not think the city would send a notice about renew business license; I might be wrong. I used to do permitting, and as far as I knew no cities had ever send the company renew notice. When I need to pull some stuff, they will check if company has business license in their city or not. If not, just fill out the form and pay. If yes, but expire, just ask for renew and pay for the business license. Business license probably is one of the easiest permits from city. Unless they tried to renew, but the city say fuck you no more.
