Anyone else got unusually good service here?

Not sure if it was a YMMV thing but I'm by no means a Brad Pitt nor charming at all. Just very average looking, above-average fitness wise, good hygiene and respectfully straight to the point. Its like tipping at a restaurant. You can get away with low-balling the tip the first time. But they will likely rememeber you when you come back, and the service will be downgraded to cheapskate level. Ideally tip just enough so that they don't make a note of remembering you in a bad way. If you plan to be a regular, being known as a good tipper may open some doors and unzip some jeans.

I ditch my wallet in the glove box. Put your door and regular tip $$$ in one front pocket. Then a Jackson in each of your 3 empty pockets, bring a pen maybe for Miss America's digits. Honestly it's more like 75-80%. I've mentioned it before, but if you do the math there's just absolutely no way any shop can keep up with the laundry. My legit massage business struggles to keep up and we only wash towels. Our sheets come from a linen service that comes in twice a week to pick up dirty sheets and drop off clean ones. You can only get 6 or 7 sheets in a washing machine at a time. One full cycle in the dryer doesn't usually get them completely dry, and it's a pain in the ass and labor intensive to fold them and put them away, not to mention they usually come out all wrinkly. And that's just sheets. My legit business gets a pile of dirty towels that we almost never get all the way through by the time my staff goes home for the night. Unless these shops have at least 2 washers and dryers running nonstop open to close there's just no way.

LOL. Forget the towels. Ever open the door to your room? That door knob's got like 20 DNA shots on it. Don't touch anything but your masseuse! Of course inspe CT the towels for stains and skid marks before you lay down Stark nekkid.

No. It has been 40 since I started hobbying 25 years ago. A raise to 60 is more than fair after all this time. I don't even put down 40 anymore. I always laydown 60 unless the experience was lack luster.
