I have nothing against BC.

It's just the concept of early access needs disclosure imo.

Let me try to explain it.

Here's my take on that. For one, I could have easily just waited a day or two to post the review and no one would be none the wiser. As for why I did, I'll get to that later on. This isn't some regulated field where conflict of interest disclosure is mandated. I would argue that disclosing such details would color the perception of the review and backlash that it entails, as clearly shown here. Here's why I believe such disclosure is not needed in this space, at the end of the day it's the content of the review that matters. How honest and accurate the details are are what everyone here relies on to evaluate whether to pull the trigger or not for themselves. Whether the poster is a complete newbie, a shill, or an OG poster, the review should be judged by it's content and not the context it was derived from. Albeit, it's understandable to be more skeptical of complete newbies and shills with less than reliable track records. Everyone on this forum can critique and evaluate the review themselves according to their own rubric to draw their own conclusions.
