Nonetheless, I have a pretty good idea who it is, & she's pretty well known to this Board.

I've been generally pretty lucky avoiding the really dangerous batshit crazy ones until now. Normally, I'd roll my eyes & write this one off without concern except she knew my real legal name. Worried? No. Concerned? Yes.

Only you know your risk tolerance for being "outed". If they have your legal name, it's pretty trivial to find your social media. How bad would it go if she started posting on your facebook or Insta that you pay for sex? If you're married that could be a disaster. If you're job cares or has a morality clause, that could be a problem. Or maybe none of that matters and the worst that can happen is you have an embarrassing post you have to delete then claim it was a scammer / hacker for plausible deniability.

I would be concerned in knowing how they were able to track down my legal name. Did I text them from my real ph# instead of my burner by accident? Did I have a piece of mail in my car addressed to my real name that she might have seen if I picked her up? Did I use my real info when I setup my email account? So on and so on.

Last October I posted a question here to ask everyone's experience getting SB in Colombia / South America. Then I went and the SB experience was alright since the SB spoke English. I got what sounds like the exact same message on my GV app no. I think it was also from area code 424, but don't remember as I quickly blocked the number and deleted the message. Don't remember "her" using any name at all. Like you, I'm concerned (and deleted off some old message strings with girls I'm not actively communicating with), but not terribly worried.

You can remind women like this that extortion is a federal crime and a felony, to boot. She's incriminated herself with that text and there isn't anything more the FBI has to do before they arrest her.
