These are all good tips for sure.

This is a cross post I've shared in the Los Angeles sugar thread, seeing so many scammer related posts here. These are some basic guidelines for newer SDs to save time and money, remain safe, and increase your chances of success:

1. Never send any money before meeting. Not. One. Cent. Only scammers will ever ask for money before meeting. Never accept "online arrangements until we can meet," or send money "to show that you're serious," or fall for sob stories about overdue bills or emergency car repairs, etc.

2. Never pay for a meet and greet: no play, no pay. Anyone who demands this is a scammer and a hustler, no ordinary girl or experienced sugar baby will request this. Your time is far more valuable than that of any entitled bottom feeder.

3. Should the profile not have any full body pictures, or use all sorts of wacky filters, request unedited full body photos or a video call before meeting. Fatties and fuglies will zoom in on their face and use deceptive angles and filters to conceal how gross they truly are. Don't let an overfed catfish waste your time.

4. Set expectations ahead of time, be clear and confident about what you are looking for. Never settle for less, or allow her to move the goal posts. Girls appreciate clarity and your direction.

5. Don't get stuck on any one chick, expecting her to be "the one. " Many girls can be fickle, and may disappear without notice. Always keep more in the pipeline.

6. Make sure to tell your potential SB that "you are looking for a regular connection with someone that appreciates you and wants to make you happy, someone who will do whatever it takes to please you. " This is to ensure she gives it her all. Whether you actually intend to continue seeing her is up to you, but this keeps away time wasters and discourages bad lays.

7. Meet & greets should be in a setting with an easy out, preferably a casual public setting. Meet for coffee / tea, ice cream, or drinks. A sit down lunch or dinner can be awkward if a fat and / or ugly chick shows up, or if the girl turns out to be a rude pig with a nasty attitude. You select the place to meet: don't have a gold digger or rinser drag you to a high end restaurant, or a rob direct you to a place where your defenses are neutralized.

8. Never accept a date where a "gay friend" or "sister" shows up with her "for her safety. " This is a hustler, a dinner who're who wants to treat her buddy or her pimp to a restaurant meal at your expense, or shake you down in some other way. If a normal girl were really concerned about her safety, she would not agree to meet you under any circumstance.

9. Do not engage in altercations or arguments with scammers, hustlers, rinsers, dinner WGs or any other bottom feeders when messaging or texting. They may retaliate by reporting you to the site under false pretenses, and try to get you suspended or banned. Simply stop engaging them, report them if inclined to do so, and move on to the next POT.

10. Don't be afraid to discuss expectations beforehand, but move the conversation off site as soon as you can. Use neutral terms on the site, and at the beginning of texting to avoid bans and suspensions. Once the girl demonstrates she's DTF, be as transparent as you like.

11. Never pay any cash at the beginning of the date. Always after visiting the FC to avoid cash and dash, or bait and switch situations.

12. Keep talking and texting to an efficient minimum, moving the conversation to an in-person date as soon as you can. Otherwise momentum will be lost, and time wasted. Your POT is getting countless offers, and will accept someone else's proposal if you don't retain her interest.

13. You call the shots, you set the terms, this is your arrangement. You are a sugar daddy, not a trick. There are more prostitutes on the site since FOSTA made it harder for them to operate elsewhere, but never let them set the tone. Never accept a prostitute's rules, or more specifically, her pimp's rules. If she drops escort terminology or rules, don't engage her, or risk being banned. Keep her in the streets of Skid Row for the chumps.

14. Remain tenacious and alert: online dating can be a minefield, but there are still gems to be found. Trust your instincts: if something feels off, it probably is. If things feel great, keep a guarded optimism until reaching the FC.

15. Last but definitely not least: Have fun and stay positive!! Approach each interaction on its own terms. Have a friendly and approachable profile: use well lit photos of you in a number of interesting environments or engaging in entertaining activities. Have fully filled out sections in coherent sentences that convey your personality and what you're looking for in very general, easy to understand terms. Any negativity or complaints in your profile can deter a connection with quality girls. Keeping a comfortable, playful environment and good vibes in every step of your interaction with your POT will increase your chances of success.

It depends on the type of girl you're talking to on there. If it's a pro she won't have a problem telling you what it cost per meet up front and that's where the negotiating begins. By the way just make sure you are talking about $$ outside of the site or risk being banned. The majority of girls on there I've had offer BBFS and they all say the same thing about not doing it often and that they get checked often. Right.

As far as non pros which is what I prefer, it takes some time and they will not fuck on the first date for the most part. Meet and greet and discuss the details there if the vibes are right. Just tell them what you're wanting. If you see them long enough and they start to trust you, you can have your way with them. Those are the type of girls that don't get posted about on here. Hoping I could get some of ya'lls insight on the sugar dating scene. I'm pretty familiar with the escort scene in the USA And abroad but the sugar scene is something I've stuck my toes in, but haven't figured out and can't say I've had experiences I'd repeat out of the couple of girls I did meet. But I'm definitely interested in it as an alternative and I know there's something here.

What's your approach / strategy here? I notice even some guys are getting BBFS with cip.

I'm a little apprehensive in discussing things explicitly because I've had the feeling before I'm speaking with LEO and I don't want to end up with that situation. Do you just discuss things plainly / openly with them? Do you hint at it and wait until the real life meet and then discuss the blunt details? What do you look for? How do you feel them out?

It's obvious this is a sorting game because some of these girls are beyond entitled and delusional. Even some of the arrogant ways some of them have tried to get me interested or sell me have been outright laughable.

I assume everyone knows SA is changing its business model to an actual dating website called seeking for those who seek to date, other successful people. You might start seeing marriage-minded, true love, monogamous some know about sugar dating some don't. I was with a nice peach last week and told me she owns a business and doesn't have the time for conventional dating and if she wants to get laid and some cash it only makes sense its a win-win but she prefers to find a life partner if possible and if I'm that guy then, of course, there wouldn't be a ppm. I've been using burner phones but if you say something to some of these women they will take a screenshot and report you so now I just use Snapchat its safer. If you have to explain what sugar dating is or asked what a ppm or what do you mean by allowance I'm not a kid! LOL yep, true story. There are still plenty of SB but if you haven't already you will start seeing things like financially independent, successful woman seeking. These are the type that will get you banned in a heartbeat and they probably do have a degree LOL.

I think they are just doing this to not get shutdown. Everyone knows what it is and there will be plenty of SB's. A regular dating site.

I have seen this trend as well. Be careful when a SB requests that you provide more details on what you are looking for. It is a quick way to get banned. I think some SBs do it on purpose.

EXACTLY! It isn't so much that SA has changed its business model to a "dating" website, but more that they are trying to protect their business and owner from prosecution. Protect the tens of millions a year in profits!

Got to realize that the idiots running BP thumbed their noses at all attempts to help them get trafficking and under-aged stuff off of their website, it took and act of Congress to get them shutdown. Once SESTA / FOSTA was passed it changed the landscape. Look even this website moved "offshore. " Now websites can no longer hide behind the protections of the Communications Decency Act when it comes to sex trafficking & under-aged stuff. Since we know the public, and thus LE, have a hard time distinguishing between sex trafficking and plain prostitution anyone running a site has to be extremely careful. Also the site / owners are liable for damages if a girl is trafficked on their website.

So the changes at SA are more than cosmetic. They are trying to keep operating but be able to prove they are against prostitution. As such things have changed. There are warnings against prostitution, changes to the TOS and now they have BOTs reading and evaluating emails for signs of prostitution. Therefore, if one goes on that website and talks about money. Banned! Site can not tell you why you are banned as that could be construed as "coaching" or helping you get around their rules against prostitution. You just don't want to get banned as it is a permanent ban as they keep track of your IP Addy and MAC addy and ban you if you try to get back on! It's a tough process to get around, so better to just avoid getting banned.

I usually correspond a few emails on the site to see if girl is interested, BUT make certain to move the convo OFFSITE before I talk about dating in shape way or form. The BOTs know all of the code words and acronyms so one can't get around it that way. It is just safest to take convo offsite ASAP! And OP is correct, girls are naive to "the rules" and often will (unintentionally?) bait you into a discussion about sugar or amounts of funds. When I get that I either quit corresponding with her or state clearly that I don't do anything illegal and if she's like to chat offsite please provide a contact method.

You have to be extra careful these days, but very few I have run into on the site are actually looking for LTRs. Everyone knows why its there. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink! But you have to play by the new rules to end up with a SB.
