Can anybody confirm that Baltimore city is or is not prosecuting for prostitution and other minor crimes? A year or two ago they stopped such prosecutions, I'm not aware if that has changed.

I doubt there would be any UC stings if there is no prosecution. Could have been an UC operation for something different.

I'd be surprised if an UC bait girl dressed or acted any differently than the real street hookers. They've seen and talked to the real girls many times, it's no secret that they dress like crap and act like strung out or dope sick junkies.

I am not a lawyer, how ever they are not prosecuting the crime "prostitution" which means, the act of accepting / discussing money in exchange performing sexual acts. That is to say, they will not go after the SWers. They mentioned noting about "soliciting" which is the act of seeking / accepting sexual gratification in exchange for money, which is what mongers do. Thy very well could do a sting operations in which you could get snarled up in.

Another thing to note, Keep in mind the the and BPD are independent agencies that work closely together. Even if the the is not prosecuting for solicitation either, doesn't mean you cannot get arrested for it. But the the can decline to prosecute. LE can still arrest you and you still have an arrest record that will always show and be public information.

In BALTIMORE, not any counties surrounding Baltimore, but in BALTIMORE.

The States Attorney is not prosecuting prostitution. Why would police be dedicating time and resources on activity that the office is not prosecuting or interested in? Stings highly unlikely for purpose of prostitution or solicitation charges.

Still need to have some sense about what you do.
