That's the way to beat a scammer. Call their bluff.

As you did, offer to double or triple the rate for a no deposit date. They're forced to say no since they are not near or local to us. There have been scammers in the past using 860/203 voip area codes. Some will also mention certain local landmarks or hotels to appear authentic. Bottom dwellers doing electronic cash and dash.

My experience was it was difficult to set up. Had me take pictures of the parkinglot to prove I was there, had me wait 20 minutes outside, finally got to go up and there were hang-abouts in the hallway. I saw Kaylee once for a date. Key word once. I saw her in passing when she was at a motel where my date was staying. Positive side she had more teeth back then. Negative, there was a knock at the door seconds after I was done. Her excuse was the manager needed the cash for the room. Another positive was the place I met Kaylee at had guys hanging around when I parked. When I left, the guys were all gone.
