Posts: 107Catching Something while Covered
It is possible to catch something even though you are covered. Herpes is a very real concern, but it is less common than 1 out of three. Still providers that serve BB are more likely to have it. Herpes is also one that is easier to get even though you cover.
The best you can do to avoid it is to know what it looks like and be willing to back away if yor provider is showing signs of a flairup. You may end up still paying for the date but better safe than sorry.

Posts: 1Recently went in for a physical and urine test came back abnormal. Turns out I got Chlamydia. I haven't been tested for STDs in years, as I never had symptoms, they just happened to find this. I suspect its recently developed because my SO tested negative for STDs in her pap a few months ago. I've been with a handful of providers in the last 6 ish months. The SO and I fortunately haven't had sex in a little bit (due to her unrelated health issues), so I have an idea who I may have gotten it from.

Posts: 95Anyone gotten an STI while being covered / online info vs reality?
A huge fear is condoms can help but not totally protect from several STIs the biggest worry being Herpes. Googling scares the crap out of me bc some stats show 1 out of 3 people has Herpes! Wouldn't that mean every provider has herpes? Well of course not. What am I missing? Are the transmission rates and info online not accurate and meant to scare? Has anyone gotten anything if always covered for oral and FS? Really a major stress. TIA.

Posts: 70I have had only one BBBJ and no std.
Besides the one time I always tell them to keep it covered. I also try to pee and wash off after also. Ill grab drying rags and use soap in there rest room if I have to. I also will use some hand sanitizer. Leaving your pubs long I heard helps, especially not going the day you shave or a few days after, when you have fresh micro cuts. I suppose you could wear boxers also, to give a small layer of separation.

Kind of new to the game here and was wondering if any of you have had experiences with any STDs? If so what was your experience like? Did you use protection or not? And if not what have you done to prevent getting anything? Especially curious about peoples experience with BBBJ and the likelihood of getting an STI like that. Anyone in relationships living this life? Tips?

Hello! I was wondering on some opinions on stis, does anyone know if that's a fairly common thing for the madison area providers? I only ask because I see reviews that mention bad smell and that can only mean a few things, one provider I know is very attractive and decently priced but the smell keeps me away. I do everything covered now but to each their own.

Posts: 285Either you're making shit up or you're just one unlucky SOB. If the former, well, fuck you if you're trying to invoke fear in the hearts of the rest of us. If the latter, you might want to consider strapping it the fuck up.

Yes I've got STDs from BBBJ. Chlamydia and gonorrhea multiple times and syphilis 100% from BBBJ. HPV and HSV from either BBBJ / BBFS.

I think the best thing to do is go to a FREE CLINIC. A few tears ago I got a STD from 1 of our illustrious ****** and went to the Lake County free clinic. No hassles or headaches and problem solved.

All the typical avenues were a dead end. Wait a week or more for the clinics then another 2 to 3 days for results. (just what you want to do when you have a sore dick) Some said they couldn't quote price until they found out how much you make. That's wonderful, you have to give them your life history and bank account information before you get treated.

Bottom line I found this online doctor visit. It's really quite the joke, you don't actually see a doctor, rather answer some online questions which took about 3 minutes. You do have to give them personal info and which pharmacy you use. You also have to do some self diagnosis which isn't too tough given the symptoms, but with that said, it isn't like a full screening. I figured if the $11 prescription clears it up, then enough said, if not, well then things could get complicated for us guys with SO.
After the questions are answered, you give them a payment type. Paypal is an option. Obviously this could be tricky if you have a SO that handles the money and bill paying but in my case I got around it. So $39 for the consultation then you receive and email a few minutes later that tells you to wait a half hour and call your pharmacy. 50 bucks and an hour later the antibiotics where in my system.
For me this worked because all the other options sucked.

Posts: 243Posting names of providers with STD's
Years back there was a provider that got busted in a sting. She made the St. Louis news because she was HIV positive. I was lucky and never saw her. I did see post with pictures of her on this site and the news. So I remembered what she looked like. About a year later I saw her twice walking Grand. So I made a report about it and used her name on this site. I am still under moderation so this report will not show up until tomorrow I assume. I had private messages with Admin and to there credit if I could of pulled up the news report they would of taken me off of moderation but I was not able to find it. I am sure there are some old timers that know who I am talking about. Just throwing this out there to let you know admin takes it very serious. The good thing was I never saw her back on Grand after that. Not sure if she saw the report or somebody from the board told her or what happened?

Prostitution was semi-legal in St. Louis in the 1870's. Medical testing was required. There were doctors who made a tidy sum selling clean results. Just saying.
