Still have to look out for scammers, not so much thieves, but the quality of girls you're looking for is there. You probably won't be able to get the white / sorority college girl for the price you're looking for but you can find single moms in their 30's, older milfs, younger black / hispanic girls for 100-250 per meet. It's very 'hit or miss', a lot of it depends on you making the effort but I think you'll have better success with SA than on STG / Eros.

You say you're an 'experienced hobbyist' who's been scammed before. How many times do you have to lose $10/$20/$40 deposits before you learn? You’ve twisted the logic to make it sound like you saved $40 by not paying the full deposit like he/she demanded. That scammer is happy as hell to to take whatever you give them and move on to the next schmuck. Don’t pay deposits.
