I know it is hard to believe now, but I have experienced it first hand too. I use to smoke cigars and would sit outside the cigar store near cross street market. There was a park across from the BOA that was a haven for prostitutes. These were mostly WSW who were homeless, and didn't look like prostitutes. They also use to hang out near the exon gas station around the corner, and by the 7-11 a few blocks away. I met a few down there but I stopped going around there after someone made a scene.
