I went to the other place on Lee Highway in Arlington the one near Joe's Pizza.

This may have already been reviewed but I unfortunately missed it.

Met by a heavy set mid 30's provider. She was the only one there.

She took me to THE room and I got ready. I asked about the table shower and was told it is a table scrub.

The massage was a 2. 5 out of 10 if I am being generous.

Then the scrub she brought in a bucket of tepid water and a wash cloth. It was about as satisfying as to make the massage feel like the highlight. I have had some scrubs with hot towels and they were nice.

Went there about 6 months ago and had the same experience.

It's been a while since I set foot in a Northern Virginia AMP, but this is the tipping guideline I use:

40 - standard HE with limited roaming (more, of course, for better roaming or more clothes removed).

60 - BJ / HJ combo with more emphasis on HJ.

80 - BBBJCIM (rare in NOVA).

$ - FS (even rarer in NOVA).

This is on top of the house fee, which is typically 60 for the half.

Reposting because Tom brings up a great point that I didn't iterate. That being the last 2 options are extremely rare in NOVA. I don't want anyone misinterpreting my post thinking you can get a BBBJ or FS simply by coughing up the expected dough, only that if you managed to win the golden ticket so to speak that's the ballpark give or take youd end up spending (220-250).

In NOVA, a monger should be going to an AMP looking for a good massage and seeing if he can snag a little extra. If you're looking for more and the massage is simply a means to an end, then I would simply refer you to something along the lines of Shirlington or taking a trip out to Maryland.

So if you're lucky enough to get FS in a Northern Virginia AMP and you tip according to the schedule cited by GripNSlip, you're looking at a total of 220-240 for an hour. This compares to 160 for an alleged hour with an Asian crapshoot provider (more like 30-45 minutes if you're lucky), or anywhere between 180 and 250 for an hour with a typical escort in this area.

The reason some providers are asking for higher tips is because far too many mongers have been willing to pay them rather than holding the line. So that makes it more difficult on mongers who are unable or unwilling to tip on the higher scale you and GripNSlip cite.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but I speak as a monger who's earning less than he did prior to the Great Recession. I'm also trying to keep prices reasonable for my fellow mongers. Not all of us living in this area are filthy rich.

Do you have many providers that you are regular with that are happy with that 40 $.

The way I try to justify it, is if it's standard NOVA: . 4.

If it's above the standard, ie: takes off clothes, let's you nurse, you have fun then I go. 6-. 8 depending on how much I enjoyed the exp / provider was hot /massage was amazing/went above and beyond.

.8 for BBBJ seems a bit short personally I would tip between $- $.2 range again for the same reasons above.

FS: $. 4- $.6 range. Any more than that and you're paying too much; unless it's a rocking provider or you've developed and amazing rapport.
