Tried to see Winter after striking out in Ann Arbor this morning (I'm up there frequently for work). I think the text conversation tells the story as well as I can, so I'll just post screenshots of the whole thing. All in all, an excellent example of why I keep taking long breaks from the hobby, and why I'm probably about to take another one. I'm curious how other mongers will view this.
