The LEO activity might have been more than just Brambleton. I stopped by Plum and HJN this evening; both dark, doors locked and no one answered the bell.

Hoping they are just being pro-active.

PSA- Not trying to cause undue alarm, so let me preface this with saying I am sure of nothing and this really comes down to a gut feeling. A couple of weeks ago I had the itch to dream and sometimes I'll just pop in to see what the talent looks like even if I don't partake. This felt like one of those days, get a nice greeting from the sexy ladies, a hug, ask them how much for 1 hour, if they have table shower, etc. Maybe bite, maybe no. I roll into the parking lot and force of habit, I'm scanning the area for uncles or whatever and never park directly by the fruit stand, so I'm looking for a spot to park the car when I spot a plain white van with 2 plainsclothed men sitting inside at the far end of the parking lot in front of Food Lion, and they are parked facing directly and looking directly at the entrance to the fruit stand. So I drive straight over, park 2 spaces away from them and pretend to take a phone call. They seem very aware of me at first as I think they saw me hesitate before choosing a spot to park, so I just ignore them and play it cool parking in the only shade of the lot. Quickly enough they lose interest in me and redirect their attention to the fruit stand. This goes on several minutes and doesn't look like a work break and they aren't eating, just staring across the lot having a chat with each other, neither of them on their phones the whole time I'm sitting there. No cameras that I could see, but I also was not in a position to see the comings and goings of the establishment they were so interested in so not sure if there was anything to record if they did have them. Needless to say, I wasn't stepping anywhere near said establishment on this day, no way Jose. I finished my fake phone call and hightailed it. Again- I KNOW nothing, this could be coincidence and they were just two dudes hanging in a grocery store parking lot who just so happen to have an unobstructed view of your favorite spa. Hell, maybe they each had an appointment coming up? What do I know? Just sayin, be aware of your surroundings.

Well, while I can't say 100% my observations were connected to this, it does feel validating to have raised awareness for some of us. Curious to see how this plays out. Were all of these Alice's Restaurants (with deference to Arlo).

Tbh I don't know who owns what anymore. We may need to buckle down and possibly create a telegram group that may need some senior restrictions to get in. We know uncle watches. Stay safe fellas.

They only pull crap like this close to an election.

Arresting these ladies under the guise of sex trafficking reduction is the equivalent of arresting the victim.

It saw where it said "victims offered resources" so maybe none of the broads were arrested?.

Nevada seems to have taken the right course.

1: sex work is legal and regulated.

2: workers must provide legitimate I'd (so trafficing is reduced).

3: workers are regularly tested so less STI's.

4: Workers pay taxes and are can get social security and medicare.

Roanoke County Police are hitting multiple suspected illicit massage parlors today, executing search warrants as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.

Police activity has been reported at Angel Massage and Sunny Spa on Brambleton Avenue, along with Summer Body Work on Williamson Road. Cop cars, flashing lights, yellow crime scene tape the whole nine yards.

No word yet on arrests or exactly what investigators have uncovered, but somebody's relaxing Monday massage just got a whole lot more stressful.

WDBJ quoted thr police that it was part of a criminal investigation at all the massage parlors. What I hope is they do not get the videos from the camera system those parlors have in place. Not sure if anything can come of that or not.

Can anything happen to those that went to these places in the past? Just curious.
