I'm pretty much aligned with Lexx regarding this aspects of SB / SD dating. I also don't fly out or fly anyone to me. And since I can host easily, all my meet ups have been here at my place, with the exception of getting a hotel for one SB in Whittier that I briefly saw. It depends, as I usually chat with my SB about how much time she has to spare, what else is on her schedule for the day, etc. They're usually pretty upfront about "I have work in a few hours" or "I have dinner plans 8 pm, so I can visit you at 6 pm and stay until then". Of course, since I live alone and can host I'm not having to deal with hotel time frames. I've also had a few SB's specifically ask me how much time I wanted to spend together and I'll answer around an hour and a half.
