I don't think I would characterize the Shirley k situation as "wave 1" hyping her and "wave 2" disappointment. It was literally wave after wave calling her the greatest and musing so far as what their own families would think of her if they brought her to dinner. Pros: First time anyone offered a cosplay selection. I wish more girls offered this, especially jgirls. I chose the office lady and she even had a lanyard with badge. A+ effort.
