Don't know which black cat crossed my path or what but I struck out twice on my latest visit to Atlanta. Driving down 75 I stopped in at GQ. First visit and I got to say this place screams "shady jack shack" from the outside. Not sure if it was busy or if it's just slim pickings around lunchtime but mamasan (I assume) asked me to come back in an hour. Didn't have that kinda time so I continued on to my actual business. On the way back out the city I tried 7 healing since I've had some recent experiences there. Grabbed a water out of the cooler and mamasan led me back but instead of heading to a room asked me to wait in the sauna, which I had no idea they even had. Scrolled through Instagram for a while and after 20 minutes she finally came to get me. Another 10 more minutes before I hear raised voices outside the door and a cutie in tight yellow dress comes in, but she's clearly been crying and has an attitude questioning why I was already undressed and saying the table shower was busy so we were shipping it. At this point I felt like the universe was trying to tell me something so I just called it and got dressed again. She left and got mamasan who asked what was wrong and said she grab somebody else but I told her I'd already spent too much time and would stop by on my next time in town. She asked me a couple of times "you no mad right" and said they'd make it up the next time I come back (believe that when I see it). So no relief was had. I'll give GQ one more shot since it's gotten some really good reports lately but I might have to try some of the in town spots like Mint instead if I'm asked wait again.

Sorry to hear this. Sometimes it happens though. Happened to me in Marietta years ago when they had a much better AMP scene and I am feeling the frustration just by remembering it! It's like I had it in my hands and lost it- ripped from my grip and I don't have time to waste! Get back on the horse and make it happen.
