First, thanks for sharing your experience and the details! It was smart not to pay up front as generally once one loses control of the funds the date is not assured and many things can go wrong. I saw Michelle today at her new apartment by the post office in New Castle. She has an air mattress on the floor and just got a new TV, also on the floor. She is clearly getting situated there. A good lesson for everyone. Always negotiate everything you expect up front.
