It's not about "find fault", but this is an advice forum. Posting here you are either giving or asking for advice, and you kinda have to accept people are going to comment and even criticize.

Taste is not the same as market price (market in the broad economic term). Sure you wouldn't go see Swift for free, but that doesn't change her ticket price in the market. And just because you like some indie small town bar band better doesn't mean you would pay Taylor Swift ticket prices to see them live. You're preferences are yours, but the pricing isn't. And if you did pay that small indie band over $2000 per ticket when you could go see them for cost of cover plus a 2 drink minimum, you would hope someone would let you know before you made that mistake. I've said this before, but hair cuts can be $20 or $2000, and you might like the Great Clips $20 cut more, but you're not going to walk in and give the stylist the $2000 Hairstylist-to-the-stars rate just because you like hers better.

Regarding what your paid allowance for her was, I don't really want to dig through pages of thread, but I think someone somewhere mentioned her allowance, and I think you mentioned you saw her and she was fun. Now, you never said you paid the amount the other guy posted, but I don't' think it's unreasonable for people to assume you stayed in her ballpark, which as I recall was in the college co ed price range. Now, if you charmed her down to a more reasonable and appropriate price for a post 40 year old, then that's great. I hope more guys follow your example.

The market price is what they are willing to accept, you make an offer and they either accept it or counter. Then the game is in their favor. Regardless of what you, I or anyone else "thinks" they are worth. The rationale you have is that any 40 yr old is only worth $Xxx is wrong, the fact is she is only worth that to YOU. I may see her and think she's a VS model or that she's hideous. As much as we would like to think we can "control" the price, that's laughable. At best we can barely attempt to manage expectations. If they turn down your $250-300 offer because they aren't attracted to you, that doesn't mean they won't accept it from me or somebody else. You have some game, you do pretty damn good. But that doesn't mean everybody is going to have that same luck.

She is really cute for a 40+, but there's no reason to pay the Ferrari 20 year old coed price for her. It just doesn't make sense. I know AtlPrince tends towards the "brutal" part of "brutal honesty" but he ain't wrong. Of course it's easy to roll your eyes and be a smart ass (and I say this as a fellow smart ass, your response did get a chuckle from me) but if you like older women, then you don't have to pay as much. Just like guys who are into BBWs, congrats, you get to enjoy the thing you enjoy for less.

Everyone who posted earlier is on the money, but just some specific info: this is usually a sign you're dealing with a bona fide "rinser. " Rinser's are faux sugar babies. Guess we should call them splenda babies. They insist on expensive meet and greets with sugar daddies, then move on. They never actually fuck you unless they'd fuck you for free. They just "rinse" daddies over and over again for free meals or free shopping trips etc etc. Most rinsers are pretty enough to bait the hook so to speak. It's totally your mistake bro. Usually, I don't do meet & greets and many times I mentioned girls want free food & drinks and 80% of the time there may not be a followup get laid date.

You have to set expectations straight at start, if you want to meet for lunch / dinner, you should say, I prefer quick M&G and fast food is a betterr choice for that. You have to take the lead and give all details and shouldn't give the girl open option ever.
