What I've learned about table showers is it shaves 10-15 minutes off of your fun time / massage. The girls like it because they don't have to "work as hard". Massage is a lot of work and if they can get out of 10-15 minutes of the labor or having you pump the hell out of them, they're all for it. Totally depends on the venue and the provider. I've never done a table shower in the Detroit area, so I can't speak to the places mentioned here, but at many AMPs in Chicago and NYC for example, much of the fun happens right in the table shower. Sometimes the first pop happens there, then a second one in the room.
