If they're getting handies now, it may be on the way to detention. Per the paywalled article below, in the past few weeks, ICE has been quietly doubling the numbers of people that they are arresting nationwide, going from 1,000/ day to at 2,000/ day now. The stated goal was set at 3,000/ day. And agents are now supposed to deployed on weekends. Last Saturday in June, they arrested 2,400.

Most of these laws are nothing new. They have been on the books for a long time. Indeed, the Executive Order was signed in January 2025. Women working in this type of job would be easy pickings for DHS to deport, given the prioritization set forth by the Executive Order. I doubt that the women are all registered with DHS. All it would take to empty the place out would be a DHS / ICE drop-in to "routinely" check on whether the papers were in order.

Yep. Is as good as ever. Caveat: My last time there (this month) it was busy, seemingly with one provider on staff. There is a doorbell / buzzer, but the front door was unlocked. I interrupted work in session, but was shown a room where I waited about fifteen minutes. Then my session was interrupted by another customer. In spite of it all, my time there was really good. I might go at opening next time. BTW, the strip mall is a ghost town, the parking lot virtually empty.

Went to Starmoon again last week and met Sophia. I was hoping to find Emma but she's gone already. But, Sophia was nice. Not as good of a massage as Emma but it was decent.
