Last night on the ave was more like it. Not too many mongers (time might have played a role it was 1 am). There were a few girls out, the blonde MILF pawg Kelly was out near Lehigh talking to some guy at his car. I think this post identifies one choice that pre-determines the results we would get from a cruise: Specifically, what day and what time makes a major difference. Friday night is the worst time to go looking because lots of guys just got paid and have $$ in their pockets. It's like going into a restaurant at dinner time when everybody else is going. Go when there is less competition and get better results.

I've often gone out early in the day and sometimes I get to see a few SWs but there is little competition. And if I don't see anything interesting, I cruise for a while (maybe a few hours) and then starting in mid-to-late afternoon SW spotting increases.

Mongering Logistics. I haven't done a pick up off a stroll in years so take what I am about to say with a grain of salt and adapt it to what works for you now. Back in the 90's when I first started mongering I met another monger who was older and more experienced that gave me some good advice. He said mongering was like fishing or hunting. You need to use the behaviors of what you are looking for and the behaviors of your competition to increase your chances of success. Mongering on the weekends is hardest for the monger and easiest for the girls. There are lots of guys with their freshly cashed paychecks burning a hole in their pockets looking for fun. You have guys who get paid weekly and others who get paid 1st and 15th of every month. So specifically avoid the week / weekend after the 1st and 15th. Those are peak times for mongers. Most girls are on some form of assistance so they get their monthly assistance the first week of the month so that week is a double whammy. All the mongers flush with cash and so are the girls. Its going to be the most competition for mongers because more mongers are out but at the same time less girls are working in that time and if they are working they can afford to be more selective and give less service going for more volume while they have a gluttony of options. You are in your worst position on the weekends and the first week of the month. Less options, more competition and poorer service (generally speaking). The biggest pro during this time is going to be its easier to blend in the crowds and letting the over zealous guys attract attention away from you which isn't much of a bonus if you are cautious and low key. Best days are going to be Tuesday through Thursday. Best part of the month will be the 3rd and 4th week of the month. The girls have exhausted their assistance money / food stamps and many mongers will have their end of month bills due. That means less mongers with less money while more girls are going to be working looking for dates. Much more favorable numbers for the mongers who saved and waited. This flips the first week of the month script in the mongers favor where you have more options and less competition so its easier to walk away for something better without risking wasting too much time. The best times of day is really a lot more un-predictable. I used to hit up the strolls the hour before and after dawn or sunset. Back when I was active I also hit up the stroll after the school busses picked up elementary / middle school kids. There were a subset of girls who worked late morning through 1 pm-ish while their kids were in school. Many of these didn't hang right on the ave. Usually half to a full block off Kensington ave. I doubt this group of girls still exist with cell phones and social media but it was something that worked back in the day for me. The morning moms were usually cleaner, more coherent and just easier all around once you had a successful date. If I did the magic hours around dawn I usually had an AMP, high mileage strip club or escorts as a back up if nothing panned out. I am sure other people have other takes on this and I would love to hear any additional input or tips.

It's actually criminal that LE will confiscate your vehicle over a BJ. The solicitation should be a misdemeanor if that. A man pays a woman $30 for a BJ, another man meets a woman takes her out to dinner spends $100 and gets a BJ, a 3rd man meets a woman in a bar, drops $50 on buying her drinks, takes her home and gets a BJ. Same difference. It appears LE is running a scam by seizing a vehicle of a John. Be careful out there.

That was crazy. But that particular block is always used for traps or sobriety checkpoints. Plus those girls looked way to thick and nice to be current Kensington SW especially in the daytime.

Dude who did the recording deserves a medal. That said, anyone who knows that area knows that no decent looking girls have been working that corner for a few years so that should have been the first clue. Seems like LE likes to use that area for prostitution arrests and for sobriety checkpoints.

Lastly I feel bad for the guys arrested. The men were adults and the women decoys were adults. The guys just stopped and said what they said and that caused them to be arrested and have cars taken and now that could cause issues with employment or at home with their families. I will say this, street walkers shouldn't be in residential areas. If people call and complain then LE has to respond but this area is dead in terms of street activity since 2023-2024. The cute girls I knew that use to work that area all died.

Last summer Camden was hot with LE after that cop got stabbed on chestnut. Its eased up a bit now but you can't be reckless like guys are in Kensington trying to pick up girls (guys in Kensington are stopping right in the middle of the ave smh). Also like Don Trask said, if you see a girl walking down Bway its a 90% that she's a SW. I will say it took a couple of trips for me to get a lay of the land knowing the side streets and places to park, and once you get comfortable with that, its a breeze. I don't go to Bway every week (just on my dispensary runs) but when I do I always come up on something.

There are a lot of similarities between Kensington and Camden. And few differences.

Generally, I find that the quality of girls is a bit lower in Camden but prices are also a bit lower too.

I wouldn't say 90% or 99% of the girls walking on Broadway are SW but the SW probability is definitely higher in Camden.

Camden has a smell in certain areas. I think there is a poop factory there.

I'd say LEO is more active in Kensington. I've never been pulled over in Camden but I did have several incidents with the Pa state troops in Kensington. It seems like the state troopers come into Kensington when they want to raise funds by issuing tickets or they are bored and want to harass people. PPD don't really bother with the hobby (in my experience other than the occasional vice targeting the girls (personally I think ppd get the girls just to get their info in case their bodies end up needing to be identified)).

I don't know where you got your information on Camden but I'm in general disagreement with your assessment. First of all, the street walking game is never completely safe and as mongers, those are the risks we take to play in this hobby. I would maintain the Kensington is a far more dangerous than Camden ever was. There are far more bad actors hanging out on Kensington then you'll find a month of Sundays in Camden. As for the cameras, the police will tell you it's a sound detectors mounted on the cameras that they monitor for gunshots on Broadway. The way Camden is laid out, you are far better making eye contact and turning on a side street for the pick up and then you are stopping your car on Broadway itself. The other major advantage that Camden has over Kensington Avenue is that if you see a girl on the street in Camden, 99% of the time she's working. There's a lot of women on the streets in Kensington but that doesn't necessarily mean they are SW's. I used to think that Kensington had an advantage in terms of the quality of the SW's but that is a highly subjective observation that I'm not sure everybody shares.

Not to worry, I don't work for the Camden economic development agency, you are free to Monger wherever you see fit. Check out Camden and see if you agree with my viewpoint.
