After being off work for 13 months, I finally got my waiver, went back to work 4 weeks ago and just today got my second paycheck so it was off to Milwaukee and cruising Silver City.

I pulled out of my driveway at precisely 6:02 AM this morning (Friday) and after a quick stop at my local Kwik-Trip for a Coke and Western Omelet I arrived near 27th and National at 9:04 AM. I say "near" because many of the streets I normally travel to get there were all tore to shit with construction, as was much of the interstate leading into town. There was no Nikki, no Jill and no Lola. All my prayers and contributions to Saint Vitalis of Gaza went unanswered.

I made a couple passes on Greenfield seeing only a few that I had no interest in, and by 9:35 started my first loop of Lincoln. On my first pass West bound I spotted several girls standing on a side walk just North of Lincoln at about 17th street and looped around the block for a better look. I stopped by after work and can confirm there was a woman under the 16th Street bridge on Bruce. Me, I stay away Friday and Saturday evenings because the dogs are out running and howling at the moon. Kids driving crazy, drunks, and too many Mongers. Drive around in the morning and you'll find multiple piles of crumbled car parts and sometimes a smashed up car from weekend night antics.

I also try to avoid evening rush hour because it takes forever for traffic to move along. And be careful when school lets out, some of those girls dress like they're advertising.
