So, I was in the area around 9 pm last night, had some errands to run. It's my usual route home, and on my way, I kept seeing lots of LE, way more than the usual, coming out from every block and parked in some lots. This piqued my interest, so I decided to do a few laps to see what was going on. I saw few cars pick up in the 90's and I wanted to see if there was going to be any action taken by LE. Luckily for those mongers they were able to pick up in the short windows where no LE was around. So, I kept driving up to Lowe's to see what was happening there and again I see LE parked in the streets, and no SW in the area. As I drove up to the coffee stand across from KFC there were two undercover cars parked, with lights on and the cops were talking to two SW who were in the Wells Fargo lot. These undercover LE cars are not the typical dark blue explorers these were typical civilian cars, one was a Nissan SUV and the other an expedition. That was all I needed to see, I continued on my way home. Make what you will of this.

Also can you remember the username of the instagram account that had the video of the SW being verbally harassed by protestors? No that's not her, she's usually around 108th, she's on the websites if I find her link I will post it. I think it was a story on one of the seattlesubmission accounts, I looked through their posts and it's not there, If I come across it I will share the link. As soon as the city council voted unanimously to repeal those loitering laws, the SW population along Aurora suddenly exploded. That had nothing to do with sex buyers / johns increasing demand, that had everything to do with the city repealing their own laws which created that demand. These fucking assholes on city council are responsible for that, not any of us, and they've fooled all citizens into believing that. I'm incredibly frustrated by this. And the only reason they repealed the prostitution loitering laws along Aurora is because they were deemed discriminatory and disproportionately harmful to women of color, low-income individuals, and vulnerable people who were often victims of sex trafficking, LOL. So they increased the demand for the very same population they were aiming to protect. Buyers came out because suddenly there were hot girls who looked like strippers standing out on Aurora en masse. Many, MANY people began to believe that prostitution was decriminalized because the police weren't doing anything. I have the opinion that many men were busted and criminalized as a result. The city created this problem and now they're looking for someone to blame rather than realize they fucked-up. "We've made a mistake, we were aiming to protect vulnerable populations, it didn't work as intended. We have reinstated loitering laws along Aurora and we will be vigorously enforcing them" is all they gotta do. They won't, because they can't admit it.

What's also interesting is that the government seems to be using the situation along Aurora to punish the entire sex industry in the entire state. So, it's conceivable that someone booking a date on TNA, for example, could end-up getting nailed for a felony. I believe that street work has generally decreased pretty dramatically throughout most of the state and even throughout the Seattle metro area, however they'll use the situation from a few mile stretch of Aurora to enact state law.
