Danger: I saw a post on another website about some fake profiles on AL that agents of the state are using to entrap people and charge them with felony trafficking charges. The officers created fake profiles, including "Mandy" and "Vixen" (screenshots attached), and they messaged interested people with language that includes talk about "managers" or a "management fee" or similar verbiage. Like "Mandy" or "Vixen," these "managers" are non-existent of course, but if a person shows up to meet somebody like "Mandy" or "Vixen", they're arrested and charged with felony charges, not misdemeanor charges. Plus, if convicted of the felonies, they would also have to register as a SO.

Obviously, this danger is also a tremendous waste of taxpayer resources because there are zero victims here and taxpayer resources aren't being used to do real police work, things like arresting violent criminals, finding missing people, or helping people who actually need help. It's also just plain evil because they're criminalizing people when there is no victim at all. Usually they only criminalize people when both people are consenting adults.

So, if you receive any message with anything at all about a "manager", STOP. You're probably messaging a fugly cop who's a disgraceful waste of our taxpayer dollars. Always do your research and err on the side of caution in seeking new friends. If there is anything to suggest that the other consenting adult is anything other than an independent contractor and somebody who is acting entirely of their own free will, STOP. Back away. Look elsewhere. Protect yourself and others from harm.
