I saw Mr. Shogun already linked you a newbie guide and I'm sure most of this is covered, but I figured I'd send some tips your way anyway.

This is for full service, if you're just trying to get a handy or something you might have to adjust accordingly.

Any places that have RECENT good reviews on here are a good bet. I sometimes go to new places not mentioned here and I do find some gems but it is very hit and miss. I'd highly suggest sticking to board recommendations until you get more experienced. When you ring the bell, the girl that answers is likely to be the one servicing you. If you're not into her and you have some moxie you can ask to see other girls or alternatively you can say "got to go!" and move on to the next place. If she asks if you've been there before, the answer is always YES.

Hand your massage therapist 2 photos of the guy who invented electricity. This is the simplest way to go about it. 99% of the time, they understand. If they ask you how much time, half hour is fine. If you want longer they will probably expect you to cough up more. If they try to negotiate more out of you, the answer is NO and be prepared to actually take your photos back and leave. Most of the time they will just say ok and move forward. This doesn't happen all that often, especially at places that are recommended here, but you want to be prepared for that possibility.

In the room, get bare ass naked. Don't be the dork that keeps your draws on. If you don't give a shit about a massage lay face up. But there is nothing wrong with getting the massage, I find it to be a key component of the experience. She will tell you to flip over when it's time. She might ask what you want using hand motions or language like boom boom. Don't discuss these things explicitly with someone you haven't seen before. Once you're flipped over it's off to the races.
