Just ran some numbers from the latest SPD arrest files for 2026. Looks like SPD have made 13 arrests for prostitution-related crimes thus far in 2026. Nine arrests were for purchasing prostitution, four arrests were for prostitution / solicitation.

Prostitution - Two arrests in Northgate area, one in Ballard and one in Lake City.

Purchasing - Four in Northgate / Greenwood area, one on First Hill, one in Lake City, one in Ballard and one in High Point.

Definitely more spread-out than in past data. Highest number of arrests was in January, most recent arrests were in April. There have been arrests made every month thus far up to April, I'm expecting to see arrests in May in the next file, but we'll see.

Thanks for doing that. I remember trolling in the past with SPD's data and looked up the court cases. All the cases were boring, where they actually did the illegal talking. I would like to see a defensible case.

Yeah, odd but at the same time I'm not all the surprised. I do know some activity goes on down there with the roving trailers and such, if that was a street bust. Initially I thought maybe AMPs, but I'd expect to see a higher number for an AMP bust. Lake City could be one of the strip clubs or street action, don't really know. But something went down. The grand point is that arrests are still being made.

It's pretty dead out there on AA these days. Last summer was a canary in the coal mine. It was pretty slow and not a lot of girls from out of town. I think it has as much to do with the economy being shit as does the girls just being not worth it. It's just a bunch of local girls out there these days and they are as bad as ever at giving good service. Normally with a bit of searching I could always find something worth while. Even those days seem to be over. There just isn't much fresh meat out there these days, it's all old stock. Girls that are out there every single night for years. As far as enforcement goes there isn't any. The cops might beep there horn at you if you are pulled over on AA or get behind you if you are on a side street but they aren't giving out tickets or arresting John's unless you get caught in a sting. They also aren't arresting the girls or giving them tickets either. That has never happened. People just are tired of those girls and the crap service and the high rates. Girls trying to charge 200 for all wrapped up. Give me a break. I am out here looking for a fun time. There isn't much fun to be had out there these days. Another thing that is a canary in the coal mine is how soon into the night the girls start disappearing. Usually by 2 am it's dead dead. There is only a very short peak window from 11 ish to like 1 and then the girls just start clearing out. This has been the trend for awhile now but it's pretty ridiculous.

On the northend of Seattle on Aurora Ave, also known as 99. The strip is active mainly from 85th to 145th and almost entirely later at night. During the weeknights I'd be careful in major parking lots north of 125th, specifically the lot where Lowe's, Krispy Kreme and Jack in the Box are located as SPD has in recent years been using that lot for john stings about once every month. Your chances of being in a sting are low, however being new to the area I just wouldn't talk to any SW in that lot no matter how hot she is. Also the city has been mailing what they call "john letters" to suspected johns who are observed talking to SWs at intersections so FYI on that. Since you don't live here I'm assuming you don't care about that but it's something to be aware of. We also have loitering laws which are in effect, this allows SPD expanded authority to approach, question and detain you for talking to a suspected SW. Again, probably not likely to happen but you should know what's what around here before you cruise.

Went out over the weekend and some very nice SWs out there. It's been a while since I've done any sort of dedicated cruising. Slender spinners in short skirts, most of them seemed to be BSWs or latinas. I pulled-up to a group of nice spinners at an intersection and just when I was about to make my greeting SPD pulled-up and parked right next to them. They all looked confused and none of them wisely made any contact with me. I saw this scenario play out for the entire time I was out there, cops parked right next to groups of girls at intersections. I went over to Oaktree for a bit and saw SPD rountinely cruise and circle the lot. At one corner in the 90's blocks I was approached by a lone and very young looking BSW spinner who had braces which I could see when she greeted me, she was one of the only girls I saw standing alone for most of my time out there. She had a sweet, quiet mellow voice and I decided not to engage as she seemed way too young and too many cops were out there watching from corners. Probably too paranoid but I wasn't getting stopped with that in the car. At one intersection at a 100 block some guy stopped right on Aurora to engage a group of BSW spinners, SPD came up behind him and gave him the horn. At another corner I came upon a nice tight BSW spinner dressed in a red mesh minidress with a thong, we made the greeting and were starting to get talking when SPD again pulled-up, she immediately disengaged and started walking. I've been noticing from arrest records that it looks as though SPD are making arrests on SWs every now and then, it definitely seems to have them be more cautious and on the move. Ultimately I decided to make a call and met one of my regulars. It's been a while, I'm not the hobbying machine which I used to be and it was nice to get some again.

While sitting at Oaktree a very badly beaten-up older car pulled-up next to me. Out came an attractive slender young woman about 5'9' and maybe middle to late 20's in high heels wearing a striking tight black minidress. She was white, shoulder-length curly brown hair and black rimmed glasses. She popped the hood and began checking the oil, bending over at the side closest to me and showing her panty-covered V. I simply just stared as she futzed around under the hood for quite a while. Other men in their cars also stopped in the lot to get a look. She began looking over at me with a blank face but I couldn't tell if she was upset that I was clearly gawking at her or if she wanted my attention. So I rolled-down the window and asked her if she needed any help. "No", she said simply with a straight-forward expression and a tone which did not invite further conversation. Then she just stood there and stared at me for a few seconds. She appeared to have nice straight teeth, definitely not the type of girl to be driving a homeless wreck of a car like that one. Dents all over the car, missing rims, unwashed. She got into the backseat and appeared to start reading a book. She very much looked like a woman coming from a bar, wasn't sure what was going on with that one but as I had already booked a date I didn't push it further.
