Got to turn in their homework for that quota, usually when new congressmen or mayor or police chief is on re-election when they pull out the street work and busts to justify to the pubic they are doing stuff.

Couldn't agree more with this one, it is just funny how the city uses their resources just right before the election to pull votes for the sitting candidate, while the incumbent, if he wins, he gets fewer resources as he came on because the last guy already spent that month's resources.

I know it's just me, but the editing & camera work (that's not bodycam) try to make it look like an action movie. Which it isn't.

Seems like they are trying to be 'edgy' or relevant in the media environment. Way overkill IMHO but then again I'm biased.

I guess Orange PD has to justify the use of all that equipment they have, must not be any real crime to worry about.

Saw on the news that the raid was the result of a months long investigation into potential human trafficking and drug sales.

I drove by yesterday. The front windows list a huge variety of professional-sounding chiro-like services. It didn't look like any of "our" typical places. I RTFF and unless I goofed up it hasn't been reviewed here. Plus, the Orange PD hasn't raided any of the 4 or 5 Orange places I can think of off the top of my head that get a lot of attention here.

This leads me to think their main goal was a big drug bust and the PD armed up because they thought a major drug dealer might shoot first, not because they were going in to find one of our half-naked or fully naked providers.

Just a thought.
