So this thirteen minute video is exactly why I've slowed way down on cruising for SWs. The I-don't-really-care attitude and general feeling of hostility is something which I just got tired of dealing with out there and it seemed to be increasingly more common. This gal might as well be rolling her eyes during this interview. And I'm not even talking about an actual date, just during the meet and negotiation phase of the encounter. I understand other guys are finding good results out there, but for myself I began encountering this kind of careless no-smile no-joy attitude more often than not which ruined it for me. I have a fine reputation on the other board. Nothing prolific; but everything there is solid. I am good about thoroughly reading the ad and profile of a girl if I want to see her so that I check all the boxes when I make contact. Yet when I follow instructions and make contact, I often don't get a response. The most recent is ElenaaFogosa (or something like that). "I will be in x town on this day. Will she? If so, I will 100% book her. " Nothing. Someone else did that recently to me. Makes no sense. I followed directions to the T. I have a good rep on the board and other provider back channels. What gives?! Who knows. Moving on to another provider.

It's unbelievably aggravating and it's common EVERYWHERE here. Nonpros, pros, civvies, you name it. People are total shit at communicating.

Most won't check your reputation anyway, so it doesn't help much.

The only consistent communicators I've seen are the asian agencies back when I was more active using them.

I only see a few ladies off the other board that I've known for years. Mostly I use the AMPs. Once in a while, someone will post and pique my interest. Almost every time I see "ask about my menu and extras". I think that is part of my interest- the possibility to have clues of what's on the table up front. And almost every time, they absolutely ignore my questions in their responses. So irritating! I drop the conversation right there. Zero interest in that bs.

And they are maintaining rates because there are a lot more of them (AMPs) than there were even five years ago.

I've got to wonder, there have to be a lot of mongers who exclusively go with escorts and never hit MPs (and vice versa). Otherwise the squeeze on the non-MP side of the bizz would be even stronger.

Back in the day I remember there were some indy escorts who were trying to put pressure on LE to go after AMPs and AAMPs. With some success. Hard to imagine how that would work today because there are so many of them and I don't think LE anywhere has the resources or the political will to make any kind of dent in their operations. Basically it looks to me like there is only enforcement in the Seattle area if some Karen housefrau is complaining loudly. And even then if they shut a shop down two more will open down the street next week.

It used to be, especially on the eastside, that most AMPs or AAMPs had very short lifespans and local police and the County took it damned seriously to get rid of them.

I also have to wonder that at some point we will get to saturation and have too many MPs. For me personally I don't see how that is possible but at some point they have to start being a losing proposition. Kind of like espresso stands when that market took off.

Stuff you wouldn't see anywhere else because women in other cities know how to date with intention and purpose (even though the apps more or less suck everywhere nowadays).

We all agree prices have gone up a lot (at least asking prices) for the same or sometimes much lamer service. So why exactly is that happening?

The simplest answer comes down to supply and demand.

On the demand end, for a lot of messed up reasons the civilian dating market in 2026 is seriously dysfunctional. Especially in a city like Seattle where it is hard to make new friends in the best of times. And there are a lot more people here than there were in the past.

Seriously, just try dating here in Seattle and see how much you have to put up with on the dating apps in terms of entitlement, ghosting, and passiveness by the women around here. All of above is true. But prices of these sorts of services is highly dependent on local climate. And Seattle climate SUCKS because we have far too much dumb money here. Guys that make a lot, but lack the experience or ability to properly assign value to benefits. So they just throw more money at it, as that's what they've got.

Inflation is directly related to the money supply, generally following the principle that when the money supply grows faster than the economy's output, the value of money falls and prices rise, often described as "too much money chasing too few goods". We've got wayyyyy too much dumb money doing the chasing here, driving prices up and quality down.

1. TRB being shut down.

2. FOSTA-SESTA being passed.

3. The other board essentially become a corrupt scam.

4. Covid.

No single item in the above list made a substantial difference, but all of them together combined basically made it much more difficult and much less appealing for new providers (especially new younger providers) to break into the market here.

So you have more mongers and fewer providers in that pool. So it is hardly surprising that prices have gone up and providers are skating by giving shit service.

What really nails it is that while prices for indy providers has gone through the roof, the prices you pay at AMPs are only slightly more than you'd expect to pay 20 years ago. At the same time, the number of AMPs has exploded in the Puget Sound area. And there are many more apartment incalls with a couple of Asian women of varying and often questionable vintage offering basic services than are obvious from the ads on STG and Bedpage. So there is a lot more supply on that end of the market.

So what I'm trying to say is that there are only two ways to bring rates for providers down:

1. Get more girls in the business.

2. Get fewer guys mongering.
