I've been using Vanilla for several months and it hasn't been an issue with me. The only issue I've had with them is they do not work when booking Marriott hotels. They do work with every other hotel brand, bar, restaurant and gas station, though. They work on SB, too.

For the men they have your card and name etc and they use facial recognition tech to keep you from opening a new account. I respectfully disagree. I've always done a M&G, paid for what I think they're worth for over 10 years, well over 100 girls, and has worked out very well except for that one time.
