Unfortunately, I have seen this before. I was on one of the popular dating apps and I saw escorts on there all the time. While they also had ads on all of the sites, like backpage and craigslist (it was a long time ago). I would contact them on the dating app and hear their outrageous demands then ask why I should pay so much when their backpage ad wasn't near as much. Usually they would get pissed at me and not answer anymore. I would think they wouldn't care as long as I was calling them.
