I have never played in Polk, for obvious reasons, but something came over me yesterday while I was heading out to Lakeland for something unrelated. I was curious about her from previous posts. I last saw Mimi a month ago and we have been in regular contact for nearly a year. I noticed during our last encounter she seemed a little. Off. She was always a sweet girl even if a little rough around the edges. She recently has been hanging around someone that I think has taken over her communication, or at least based on our previous rapport I hope is the case since I was basically told to eff off which is something I never would have expected her to say to me. I agree with her communication always being an issue however with some patience she was always able to meet up at some point. I am hoping whatever is going on she becomes available again. She was exactly the type I look for and was a good experience every time I had her.

She was sweet for a long time. But I doubt someone took over communication for her. She had a death in the family late last year and after that she got. Touchy. Random stuff would set her off and every time it was like a Vietnam vet having a PTSD flashback. The change was instantaneous, and seemed to have no rhyme or reason to it. Happened mid-nice conversation during a visit once. She said something, I agreed, she flipped a switch and ranted for five minutes, then dropped out of it and was back to being sweet, apologized, said she was just tired and dealing with a lot.

At the time, I shrugged it off and said it was fine, I understood grief did weird stuff to people.

But then she got weirder and weirder to deal with until I had that interaction where she was having trouble getting a room and I offered to find one and she could keep it later. Or we could meet and I'd give her money for the room and she could get it, that way she is the only one to ever have a key.

She called me, screamed curses at me, said I was trying to scam her, etc. I was so startled I explained that wasn't it, I just thought it would help. (I should have just hung up honestly). Suddenly she was sweet again, but acted like the offer was still an insult in some. Roundabout way.

Well she still got worse after that, didn't matter how polite I was, she was on a hair-trigger. She contacted me one time just to twll me she had quit her day job and was available for incalls. I said I'd love to meet. She went silent, then texted me the *next day* to berate me and claimed I had never responded after she tried to do me a favor, more cussing, etc.

That time I just didn't respond.

Thing is, in the past we had a pretty good rapport too, and I try to make a point to be kind and polite to all providers since their job is a risky one, they deal with a lot of idiots and jerks, and I just like being kind. So I'm pretty confident I didn't do anything to deserve how I got treated (repeatedly) as she spiraled downward. At this point I don't know if she had some kind of other major event happen, or got into drugs, or just. Snapped. But I'm not surprised she's treating people badly at this point.

I think maybe she just needs a break away from this work for a while so she can re-orient and balance out emotionally. I'm sorry you got hit by whatever is going on too.

Yeah. She tried to say she was going to raise her rates once even when she was still acting like, well, a rational person. (Which was funny because she'd always promise to lower her rates right before I left, then she'd forget saying that next time). But yeah, she was always on the expensive side, but offered anything you could imagine except greek and was genuinely fun to be around so it didn't sting too much. She was always a tad ditzy over coms, but not too bad. Anytime she said she was going to raise rates I just said I was only willing to do the old ones, point out we had met several times and had a good rapport, and she'd back off of it. I kind of wonder if I was one of her only regulars, so losing one might be a big deal? Who knows?
