Has anyone driven by the old Lily Spa at Six and Farmington lately? I'm seeing recent advertisements for it but am not up that way often enough to drive by and check. I do recall work being done there late last year so I thought it was possible they would reopen.

If they're open I might pop in next week to give it a go and a review.

Just had the pleasure of checking this hot little Asian out. Kana Group finally scored a nice young one from Thailand! This ones smoken hot! General parlor question: how do you deal with time being shorted for you? I see this is now becoming a pattern. Pay for 1 hr upfront, get 50 mins if not 45 mins if they have to rush to someone else. Really pi**es me off that on 40 min mark, there's a flip, pay upfront for extras and then if it's about 10 mins. That's it. Your total is 50 mins. How do you guys deal with it?

I'm cool with it. The moment I finish, I want to get out of the place. I tolerate the final minutes where they rub my temples and slap my thighs or whatever they do, waiting for them to leave the room one last time so I can get dressed freakishly fast and get the hell out the door.

Most decent AMPs will short you on time if they are busy. But never until the service has been provided. On the other hand, the same will go over time and / or offer a 4-hand experience when the things are slow. If I see more than one car parked in the lot, I'll bail and try later. These are places where the AMP is the only open biz at the location. It's harder to tell if it is in a busy strip mall, but I avoid those altogether. Worse than a 45 min hour is one lady moving between rooms servicing multiple clients simultaneously. The mamasan was the one moving us around and my hour was over 90 min. So much for a quick lunch.

One reason I never liked the original Magic on 8 mile was they'd offer 45 minutes for the same rates as M1 for an hour, and Cindy always made sure I got the the full hour+. Worse, Magic would stick you in the sauna for 10 minutes, so between the lackluster tableshower and the sauna you were down 15-20 minutes. Then more time lost haggling and then off to get a rubber. It was like they did a time management study on how to shave time off the customer experience. I last went to Magic 20 years ago, but I just couldn't bring myself to go when they rebranded recently, despite all the rave reviews. Anyway, moral here is it's nothing new.

The last time I went to Saigon, I too thought a pedicure as a prelude to the fun would be a great start to the festivities. Wrong. I think letting her know I was sent by Tiffany was a mistake. There was a different customer that was offered and given champagne, and snacks. I wasn't even offered water, LOL. The Pedi was rushed and she didn't do a good job. She left jagged edges on my nails, so I had to file them when I got home. A waste of money. Then when I went upstairs, my provider had taken another customer 10 minutes before my Apt was scheduled. I waited 10 minutes and left. I haven't been there since. 2022.
