My understanding is that an OD causes the suppression of the unconscious impulse of the body to inhale and exhale leading to lack of oxygen and eventual death. Narcan disables the effects of the drugs and the body responds regains function.

01/16/2026 Friday 630-930 PM.
Friday night awful quiet around the triangle and the circle. Not much going on around Busy Bee.
Sucks when the regulars keep getting their phones stolen or lost. Have not had to hit the streets in awhile.
One little petite brunette in front of busy bee now (940 PM), 2 dark to see what is going on.
CNOTE.

Ambalance was there prob within 5 min. Not sure if the guy who started CPR was the same one till the end. I looped past a few times. They must have not wanted to move her to keep the CPR going. They put a grey blanket over her after about 20 min. Cops had a few girls from down the block go over prob 2 I'd her.

I have to wonder if I knew this woman. After Tink died. There was some talk about overdose on the street. The following Saturday morning after her death, I asked some of the girls if they had any extra Narcan. I carry it in my car just in case it's needed. I've had to Narcan in one girl, one girl I was getting ready to Narcan flipped out. I don't have a problem, trying to save a person's life.

Economics 101: Street walking is a consumer regulated industry. They can only charge what you are willing to pay. Even if they all got together and formed a union, they can't raise prices above what the consumer is willing to pay. What they do is not essential. Raising prices would result in fewer or no customers at all. The rules of supply and demand do not apply to luxury service based goods. Fact is that it is the monger that is essential to their way of life and not the other way around. As long as the Democrats can't figure out a way to tax or regulate the industry, you might be paying that same 20 $ in 2040.

According to the Baltimore City fire department, 5 minutes for the fire department, 9 minutes for EMT. But my point was, although I applaud the attempt to save another life, 20 minutes is a long time. And if professional help was called, they should have been there long before then.

They are still getting a good deal. Like you said the quality was better then and back in the day their "meds" were more expensive by about 4 times what they run today.

Went to a seminar about finances the other night. The guy speaking told us. Let's go back in time. It is now 1997 , here is twenty dollars. He then says. OK, we are back to 2026.
Give me back the twenty dollars. He has us guess how much to give him. Few say twenty, a few say fifteen. I told him thirty. I was not even close.
Roughly the twenty from 1997 would be forty two now. Or forty two back in 1997 would now be twenty.
I laughed to myself thinking I got into mongering around 1998 or so. Street walkers were charging $20.00 - now 27 years later can still get service for $20.00.
Granted. The women are not same quality as years ago for most part but gets job done. I'll usually give $25.00 - now / then a $5. 00 tip if really good.
Hopefully none of the ladies ever figure out we are getting a decent deal.

Saw a girl OD between the circle and Bruce St drug hole.
Some guy gave her CPR for like 20 minutes but she didn't make it.
Sad.
